On Holy Water

(1/7) > >>

EdTheKet:
When your character is looking for Holy Water (for example for scribing inks), you may want to consider to ask what deity has blessed it to make it holy and then make your character wonder if you want to be associated with that deity.

vgn:
Very good point Ed.
Sago has actually used this same idea to steal holy water making business away from Chanda. He mentioned to the buyer that he may not wish to have holy water tainted by an evil god and would be much better off with my holy water.

EdTheKet:
Also, when making holy water, think about if the temple you're doing it in is appropriate. If it's a temple that your deity isn't at least friendly or allied with will certainly kick you out before you can desecrate their Holy Pool.
Also, your deity probably doesn't like it that you're not devoted enough to come to his/her own temple and do it there.

dadunmir:
Does someone want to double check the temples and make sure they all have enchanting pools then.  I am pretty much certain the temple of Mist in Leilon doesn't have one.

GhostWhoWalks:
Not all temples may be able to afford it. The holy water font is an incredibly expensive piece. Perhaps if your local temple doesn't have one, you could donate some coin to help them...?
In P&P the font is around 10000 gold for a large one if I remember. Its been a while since I had to look. Needless to say, they are expensive. And not all temples can afford it.
