Title: Ventriloquism

I was wondering what skills people have tested in the past to perform ventriloquism, or how they rp'd it with a GM.

If you're a bard, I'd say a straight perform check would suffice. With NWN limitations of only giving the Perform Skill to bards, I'd say that anyone else with a known background on such performances and perhaps a Bluff or Discipline check would do the trick

Would it be an opposed check against someone's wisdom, or awareness skills.  Or a target set by the dm I wonder?  I would think an opposed check if there is someone who could reasonably analyze the trick.  But otherwise, a target set by the GM.

Thanks for the info.  I stopped playing D&D at the 2nd edition rules, so when I picked up NWN, I found the mechanics to be relatively simple, but that I didn't know much of the fine detail or finesse.  Layo has been excellent for that.
