'Having to Let Go'
« on: February 10, 2008, 03:32:38 pm »
*Word comes from the Temple of Kithairien that a man named, Lance Coyle, brought his deceased wife and devoted follower of the Runner, Randi 'Tyyne' Coyle, into the temple tightly embraced in his arms to be laid to rest. He was followed by a fellow name 'Bear' and his future wife, Abigail.

Randi was laid at the temple for her final visit where those present paid their last respects and said goodbye to a wife and friend. Her body was draped with a Kithairien flag that was carried by Lance.

In honor of the Randi's last wishes and the ways of Kithairien, she will be cremated upon a wooded altar and her remains scattered by the winds. The location of the ceremony is only known by her husand and immediate family.*

As Plenarius soared in an easterly wind above the Lake of Tears, a warm and strong gale embraced his flight.  His approach to Vale seemed effortless, as though being carried along by an unseen force.

He landed right outside the temple and raised his eyes through the canopy to the clear sky before finally entering.

"Oh Plenarius, hello! I was just thinking about you." greeted Melynna with a straight face.

Plen smiled and bowed lightly.  "Why is that Melynna?"

"Here... news from Kithairien's..." she stated with a slight crack as she passed him a small parchment. Plen unrolled it and seconds later dropped his hand to his side and looked up to the now frowning priestess.

Melynna broke the silence.  After your recent log of events...I just thought you may want to know...

Plen stood expressionless for a short while before finally remarking, "Layonara has lost a very caring soul ... Kithairien has gained one though, may her spirit run with the winds."

Melynna nodded and silence weighed over the temple as they stood motionless in prayer.
