Title: *Towards the Breath of the Muse * ... Post Tyiilaan CDQ thread

// Discussion thread for Tyilaan, Andrew, Jilsephonie, SehKy and Cord. After the events of the village of Lilac and had moved further into the river of reflections heading over the Breath of the muse, Being escorted by a small group of Heartsong archers there, they seem a bit hessitannt and not that open as in previous times  ( to those who had traveled here before ). but they aren't openly hostile nor threatening.

*The group keeps moving beside the river for the next day, the Breath of the muse being still some days of trip, you eventually pass thru the place where the cotage was supposed to be, only the remanents of the old building are seen ( just the shape on the ground , no actual build ) and the base of what once seems to be the chimney, the cotage is just under the shadow of a small hill. about 500 meters away of where the river is ( and where the party is ), the sun is finally setting down and you find a good place to camp near the area, food won't be problem with the last stop at Lilac, and you have the water of the river as well. The heartsong archers don't travel with you, but a bit afar of your group, and you have the idea that they are changing patrols as you advance further into the river*

*Tyillaans takes a moment to look at the ruins, getting closer to them and sifting through the rubles trying to figure out why it has burned out. Sensing for any remnant of al'noth that could be tied to the painting that had disappeared.*

*Sehky cooks venison stew, creativly flavored by herbs and seasons he purchased in Lilac talking about the Breath of the Muse with anyone who wants to talk.  When the stew is ready, SehKy walks over to invite the Heartsong Archers over for stew.*  //ready to roll *cooking check  ^.^

The bard takes out his sketching book.  He finds a spot near the cottage's foundation that has  view of the river past the chimney and settles on the grass.  The foundation he sketches as the outline appears, and the placement of the remains of the chimney; then he fills in what he imagines the cottage might have looked like, walls built of logs of the dominant trees found nearby, thatch roof, windows unglassed but with brightly painted shutters.

With some colored inks - not much of each, as the containers must by necessity be small to travel easily - he brushes in imagined shades, pale and dark yellows for the roof, the shutters a pinkish red wash, singing all the while.

Cord plays her piccolo following how her heart feels, hateful of the dark elf she saw, angered by the memories of her captures, with a healthly dose of skepticism that any even Tyilliaan, trying to work her way through her own emotions.

*The first couple of hour pass, with the sun reaching to the hidding spot, crowning a hill, the foundations of the former home, has been almost erased by the time passage, there are if any just some burnt rocks where once the chimney was, no other hint that there was a home there is found on this, As Chord¡s piccollo rings thru the nigth with a sad and almost violent yet beautiful music to make her mood expressed thru the sound of it.

The crickets on the field acompanying the music, As andrew finishes his "painting" on the Cottage that has formed on his mind, the smell of venison and spices fills the air *

*Jil makes her way to where the burned cottage is.  Thinking that maybe finding something personal among the ruins, may bring the people a bit more happiness, she begins a search of the area.  She pokes through the rocks for anything that might have been buried, looks for a possible root cellar and slowly circles out looking over trees for for hidey holes and/or marks/stray arrows that may tell who actually attacked/burned down the cottage.*

The sketch is done and inked and Cord's music winds around his soul.  Standing, stretching, he moves toward the smells of SehKy's stew and sets the artwork beside him to dry.  As the ladies pick across the ruins with fingers and magical senses, he speaks to the woman at the center of it all.

"That elf...I sensed true desperation.  As curious as I am it is just that - curiosity, not empathy.  But why did you walk away from him?"

*Her sensing of the Al'noth revealing nothing to her she turns and comes back toward the fire. Hearing Andrew's question she sits at the fire*

"What could we have done? If we tried to free him, either we would have injured those guarding him, us, or we would have gotten him killed, faster. At least now he has a chance to be judged fairly, if they hold a trial. I should probably write a letter to judge Kirus, maybe there's something he can do.

Since from his says, he has no ties to the breath, they can't really help him either. And he seemed very adamant that they would kill him instead of helping him, for some reason.

So beside hoping for the best, any actions we could have taken might have ended up with someone being hurt, I'm no Aeridinite, but if I can avoid it I do so."

*She looks up at him gauging him and waiting for what ever questions or answer he might have.*

"He's probably right that they'd kill him.  I wonder why he felt so strongly that the Breath would see him dead but not random strangers?"  The back of a violin is removed from a simple case; dust falls out with it, and sandpaper.  He examines a few squares and selects a piece fine enough that it resembles lamb's skin.  He sands the chiseled gold-and-red wood while he speaks.  "Keep in mind they probably won't open their arms to you even with the four of us vouching.  Interesting you mention Aeridin...you lived with an Aeridinite for years, and I know because I live with her now."  A quick smile.  "Az'atta's doctrine could be considered closer to Aeridin's than Ilsare's, if compared, and you are a former Az'attan...and you speak of your own hesitations regarding the arts and love.  I asked this before, but I'll ask again, because they will.  Why Ilsare?  What does She touch in you?"  The words are underlined with the whisper of paper over wood.

"I'm not hesitant about arts.. I just don't know what I can bring to it, I'm not very artistic. At least in the ways most people think. I don't paint, or draw, or play music.

And for love, it's the more personal aspect of it, what you would refer to a lover. Friends are not the same in that way, yes they can hurt you and betray you but for the most part, they don't have that intimate connection with you. That's the part I'm hesitant about.

But I can appreciate the arts, I do find the beauty in them inspiring, I can relate the sense of your soul being moved through music and it changing how you perceive things around you. And with the years of living with Sehky and Keela, it has taken a new light and understanding. Maybe some would say that you don't have to be a Ilsarian to appreciate those, but when you understand how they make you feel and in a way changes how you look at things, why would you not want to give thanks to the mistress of the arts. And what a better way to give thanks than to follow her tenants? After so many years of feeling a whole in me where my faith used to be, and seeing how Keela and Sehky interacts with theirs in a daily basis, it drawn me to want to know more and feel it myself.

I hope that answers it better than I did last time."

*Keeping his thoughts to himself, SehKy packs the food and cooking gear away.  SehKy sets out an ornate tea infuser and tea pot for use later in the evening and/or the morning.  Satisfied all is ready for morning, SehKy casually walks over to the Heartsong Archer camp in an attempt to socialize, talk archery, learn names, and peek at quivers to see if he spots any of his distinctive enchanted arrows in use.*

He nods as he listens; finely dusted wood is caught up in the fire's drafts to dance with the embers and ash.  "Tenents."  A smile.  "Not something the Inspiration has many of.  But you did hit one squarely on the head - feeling.  Passion.  That is where you will find Ilsare in your heart; that's the tenent you follow, wherever it leads you.  There are no books to tell you how to act as an Ilsarian.  By contrast I could read the laws of Rofierin...no, no I couldn't."  He laughs.  "Let me pick a different example.  I could follow Aeridin's faith very easily, given who I love and what I know.  I could follow doctrine and claim to be Aeridinite..."  For a long few seconds, he looks at the violin he's been sanding and quietly touches the wood, taps it thougthfully, then looks back to the dark elf.  "...and no one would have reason to doubt me...but me.  It's here -"  He taps his breastbone, then reaches to tap hers.  "- and here.  It's art and beauty, and love and passion, emotions, feelings, surrendering to them...and expressing it all, and encouraging others to express it.  How you do it and how well you do it isn't important.  Only that you do.  It's my experience, at least, that in doing so you draw closer to Her.

"And don't think because you're a little nervous about the trust involved in love that you're alone."  Wry smile.  "Ask my wife sometime how long she waited for me to figure it out..."

*As he reaches to tap her own breastbone there's a slight hesitation but she doesn't move after that very slight moment, looking at where he taps and listening to his words she nods.*

"I understand what you mean as of passion in what you do and how you live and express yourself and emotions. It doesn't happen very often but I guess Elly and Argos got a wiff of my passions at times, in what I think and feel. And I guess that if one can see passion through archery, there might also be a place for it to be considered an art, well it is, at least for those of us who practiced it all their life to attain perfection. Even if in it self, perfection is not required, the drive, the passion to attain it is in it self an expression of that love and devotion for the art?"

*After a bit of time, Jil comes wandering back to the camp, her pixie Kyrie flying all about her in loops, chasing a drifting leaf or a passing bird, a high pitched tinkle that could be laughter coming from it.  A small bit of rope still hangs from her pack, glowing quite brightly, begins to fade as she approaches.*  

I smell stew ... any left?

*She walks over to Ty and squats down next to her, a dirty and tarnished necklace.  She holds it out to Ty.  The necklace, once opened, shows a small painting of a  woman doing a painting. It's surface and contents are damaged and diminished due the exposure to elements but other than that, well preserved.   The painted woman is blonde (or red-haired perhaps ), with pale skin and serene  expression*
 

Nothing much left of the cottage and it's property.  Found this in a sort of Root Cellar just a short ways from the where the cottage stands.  Hopefully its an heirloom or something of emotional value, that if you were to return it, perhaps it may ... change her view?

*SehKy is greet again by the archers whom despite being cautious doesn't spare them to be kind and polite to him, they take the stew, and share it beetwen themselves, finally the one leading this patrol aproaches to him, he mentions that his name is Ke'lduran, and has been serving alongside the rest of the heartsong Archers from some time ago, he said that he personally has 100 years in the service of the protection of the Breath, his quiver is covered and yet made of precious manufacture, the feather of the arrow, shows a wide variety of colors, they being carried with great care and concern.*

*After some time ( an hour perhaps ) , the heartsongs request SehKy to return to the campsite of the guests, he is willing to do chat though *

As the time passes the sad song changes ever so slightly, the tone full of her own emotions, though the mood changes from the underlying and obvious anger to a more thoughtful tone, at the edges of her eyes she holds back as much of her emotions she can and finally lowers her piccolo thoughtfully, and moves closer to the others to catch a glimpse of the necklace.

He's been listening to the bard and at times humming or sanding in time to her; her music has been a backdrop to his own discomforts and thoughts.  With the restrained ending he gives her a warm smile, letting all his enjoyment of the music shine in his expression.

*After visiting with Ke'lduran, SehKy returns to camp alone, light of heart and resulting mood.  Speaking thoes at camp*  Too bad they keep to themselves, I can't help but like them *smiles thoughtfully looking back in the direction of the Hearsong Camp*.  That Ke'lduran has served in the Heartsong Archers for 100 years.  Perhaps Andrew and Cord can perform something they can  enjoy from afar *smiles at them hopefully*.

"Mm."  Without another word he sets the art tools aside and takes Bella out of her pebbled leather case.  After a moment of tuning he picks up where Cord left off, stroking the bow along the strings in short bursts that begin sharp, trail, and fade; musical steam.  Lengthening the notes, he starts to improvise, leaving space for the elven bard to join.

"Who do you see when the river reflects
A face in the ripples, a mirror to inside
Black white and red from nightmares and dreams
A soul wrapped in skin that makes our children cry..."

The words are harsh but, picking up on Cord's discomfort as he heard it in her playing and his own mixed feelings, honest.  The anger expressed by the elven woman is muted in his rendition, favoring her final notes of reflection instead.

A quick nod, an examination of the locket.  He's still humming the Cord's tune and making up words but he tones it down so the non-night-owls can rest.  He won't be.  Not for a while.

With a light spell sung onto his fingers, he illuminates the picture inside locket and shows it to Cord before setting it open on his thigh.  Using his journal as an easel, he begins to sketch the woman into the painting he started earlier - outside the cabin, sitting, easel in front of her - she drawing the dwelling, serene, as he was when he drew it.  Her brush is held up and on the canvas, her body relaxed, trim in a blue gingham long dress and apron;  he paints her to have red hair.  It makes him smile as his fingers daub and stroke.  

It's not his most accomplished form of expression and therefore he is absorbed.  He includes in as much detail as he can the cabin on the canvas in front of her.  The river and grass and trees around him are gone; Cord, Ty'llian, Jil, SehKy - gone; it is just his glowing fingers and the tiny, imagined world on the sheet of sketching linen.

*Time passes, as Andrew goes into his "artistic trance", the rest of the group had taken their time to rest, under the vigilance of the Heartsong archers around, Andrew snaps back as the warm caress of the sun rays hit his cheek, returning to the reality and outside of his small "time bubble" to draw, he can see his picture finished ( with the resources he has of course ), he realizes he didn't sleep all night so absorbed into the drawing and the artistic expression, feeling the moment and developing into the creation, with the passion of an artist, he looks at the painting again, and leans back, if any a bit tired, he can't supress a yawn, as the sun keeps raising into the horizon*

The sun was making him drowsy.  Well, and the lack of sleep - he hadn't gone that long absorbed in his expressions in a while.  It was good, like a good night performing, but he felt some of his age.  The painting was secured inside the sketchbook, the locket placed into Jil's hand, and the paints, charcoal, brushes, and a fresh sheet of linen paper set in front of Ty'llian.  The small pots and brushes he set at the corners so the wind would not blow the blank page away; he staged it as an introduction.  This was a good spot to create.  He hoped she'd feel it.

He hoped as well that his eyes were playing tricks on him.  The picture in the locket seemed blurry, the canvas worn, almost burnt - but surely it was his imagination.  He'd only had it open for...six hours?  Eight?  Was that too long?  Or was he just not seeing right?  He'd reassess when he woke.  Praying no one was in a particular hurry to get moving, he crawled into his sleeping sack, still clothed, and let dreams take him.

Cord's own reverie came, the need for rest overwhelming and her eyes closed while she watched Andrew creating a beautiful work of art in the dark. In her own reverie she could see her mothers face, and hear the sound of her voice singing a soft song and she could hear Ty's voice, encouraging her to remember her mother to close her eyes. She wanted to hate Ty and all the dark elves for taking her away, but Ty helped her remember and for that she owed Ty a great deal.

She sat up slowly as the sun rose and took out her own charcoal, and drew the face she remembered. She had never drew her mother, protecting her memory deep inside, but she was the only one who remembered her mother as far as she knew. And so she drew as much detail into the charcoal rendering as she could remember.

*The start as the sun keeps moving up and more up into the morning sky, the feel of the breeze from the river gives you a nice feeling of freshness, Jil used to it, wakes up earlier, and can see that the Heartsong has not stopped keeping eyes upon you, being extraordinairly vigilant on the group*

*The sun reaches to about near what could be 9 am in the morning, as Andrew stays asleep, as the rest of you start to wake up slowly*

*Ty's reverie was not so resting as she seems to stirr through the night until at the point where the sun is firmly up she moves and hit the things left by Andrew. Opening her eyes she looks at them a moment, then to the sleeping Andrew and back to the things. She picks up the brushes and inspect them, and then the paint it self. Shrugging a moment she moves on her stomach, her legs bent upward dangling in the air and looks at the paper wondering what she could try and paint. Having no Idea she does simply look at one of her bow and tries to paint it on the canvas. For those peeking at her might see her giving it a good try even the tip of her pink tongue escapes slightly from her darkened lips*

*The drawing comes out without much presicion, the lines are firm, as someone used to writte and practicing iconography, but the form lacks substance, the proportions are missed at some parts, and the tone maybe a bit a miss, the drawing of the bow reflects just that a bow, but its far from being a good painting, it was a good one for someone who ever has tried to paint anything,

Its apparent that the brush was not reacting to what Ty tried to do ( for the lack of experience on the use of the tools ), and the scrawls on the canvas ( or whatever material is )  seems a bit blurry at some parts*

*Once she is done with her attempt to paint she leaves the things there, the paint covered so it doesn't dry and the paper to dry. She then gets up brush herself up and moves a bit aside where she starts to stretch slowly for a good while. Then when she is done stretching and if undisturbed, she takes one of her bows and picks a target on a tree, a small protrusion that gives a good bulls eye feel. For a few she will just stay there her bow fully stretched, holding the arrow steady as long as she can and passed that until she can feel it burn aiming at that target, and then she simply let go. Arrows after arrows at her best speed she aims for the same spot on the tree. Training and passing her time waiting for the others. The only difference in the now and a few years ago while training, is that she took a habit of humming any songs that comes to her mind*

"MmmmMmm...now...okay..."  Still mostly asleep, he turns toward the tickling with a smile playing across his face and fumbles for something.  His hands are constrained by the sleeping sack and the fact that there is no one actually lying next to him, and after a moment he yanks an arm out and starts groping.

Wha...oh...oh."  Clearly disappointed and with a quick flush of color on his cheeks, he flips to his side and rubs his face.   "What time is it?  Is there dwarven tea?"  Almost as soon as the words are out of his mouth, he notices camp is broken, and groans.

*As they walk toward the breath, Ty is rather silent even for herself. She has in her hand the paper of the painting she did earlier, and seems to take a look every so often. At first with more a critical eyes about how she could have done it better and about asking Andrew what she could have done better. But as the tmie passes, she looks at it more with an attitude of just enjoying it and trying to find what emotions the painting might carry if any at all.*

*As the time pass, your travels take you deep into the River of reflections, taking the Dark elf with you has not been easy and the feeling of aprhension can be felt, the Heartsong archers always vigilant and holding the territory advantage are quite efficient on the protection...*

*Two more days pass of continual travel, the bard still wearing down on the late night sleeps  ( or lack of sleep ), as the group continue, in the beautiful mid-morning the Breath of the Muse can be seen finally, the wooden walls show the wonders of careful built, no matter how many times you have been there, the place never cease to amaze you filling the heart with joy and love for the art.... if any.. its too pink *

The bard returns to singing and doesn't especially make up for his lost slumber; his natural daily rhythm is to wake late, nap, and stay up until the days switch.  He spends a lot of his waking time being half-asleep as his elven guild Captain seems to prefer an early morning start, but does make progress on a new song for he and Lana Poetr's show.

Am I worthy as well?  My bow is my violin, the arrows it's bow.  Using different wood arrows and making her draw different lengths, her bow can sing in battle!  The beauty of a well carved bow and its song when played right, is this what Ilsare wants or accepts?  Perhaps listening to the others, will answer this question to find if she would be of acceptance here.  If not, I'm sure Folian would be more accepting of the other aspects of my life.  But why not both if possible ...?  She listens to the others and their talk ... *

Since she was already expected she removed her hood, although her nature still showing as she was slightly nervous in her manner doing so but once done, she didn't try o hide who she was. As they moved into the breath, she listened and let her sight roam to the crafters, the painters and all of those giving praise to Ilsare by simply doing what they felt inspired to. As they kept walking she breathed in the air as if trying to permeate herself with all her surrounding. Her smile bright and wide. It would be hard for her to explain how exactly she felt at the moment.*

*Despite Andrew perfect standing smile and calm posture, the elf looks shocked at the whole thing, as you get inside the place, the conmotion is evident as the group gets into the Breath, there is an echo of gasps, one or two artists are so inmerse on their work that doesn't notice what is around there, but the usually calm enviroment that is the Breath, it becomes tense, the reactions vary as you all move into the halls, from people frozen from terror to people simply running outside the room where the group is walking, breaking the harmony and the peace that the place is supposed to bring*

*With a look of compassion and understanding SehKy responds to Jil, his voice carries as the words are obviously for more than just Jil* There is one dark elf of the Ilsarian faith, the Nave Talia Hycinth, whom I have arranged a meeting with Tyillaan.  Nave Hycinth has helped a select few dark elves learn the ways of the Heartsong. A few Ilsarian dark elves, among a faith of thousands, make them extremely rare and precious. The repute of those few is a small drip compared to the repute torrent of the murderous hordes of the deep. I would suspect most at the Breath have never seen a dark elf aside from rare sightings of those known few, darkelves of the Heartsong.  I pray that those of the Breath come to know Tyillaan, as I know her, and yet at the same time keep up their vigilance against dark elves who would threaten the Breath.
 
  Ilsarian faith is between the individual and Ilsare.  Faith does not depend on a hierarchy caste of clerics to tell you what to do or hand down edicts *makes a face*.  You give your heart to Ilsare or you do not.  It is up to the individual to have faith in Ilsare.
 
 
*moves to give Tyillaan a reasuring shoulder squeeze* Jil, my point is, many here will never be able to accept Tyillaan as a friend; or overcome fear to even speak with Tyillaan; but they will come to accept Tyillaan as Ilsarian and some will even be able to free themselves from prejudices and seek the inner beauty of Tyillaan as I have.  In many ways seeking inner beauty is a divine act for an Ilsarian; the harder the beauty is to find; the more it makes Ilsare smile when you find it. The shock of another dark elf that follows the Heartsong will wear off in time.

He should be paying attention.  It is Cord's first time to this sacred place and he's been subtly trying to introduce her to Ilsare through their lessons anyway.  Tyillaan is new, and with the constant flow of expression, it's new even to him.  Very little stays in one place for long at the Breath.  He should be watching and listening and interacting.

But he can't focus.  He catches snippets of the conversation, comes out of his thoughts long enough to overhear an interesting flirtation between Jil and SehKy - well, is that really a surprise? - but in his head he's shaping a violin.  A stubborn, difficult violin that seems to want to flow together until it doesn't.  The wood has so far been in accord with his fingers but the string still resists.  He'd have given it up long ago, who uses bebelith silk for an instrument anyway?  Except, one time, for just a few bow strokes, he got it right.  He heard what was possible and while the sound wasn't to his tastes he sensed immediately that his customer would love it.  

Whatever he'd done before the silk shredded, he has to do it again and then try to preserve the wound strands.  Muse alone knows how though, and that is why he can't concentrate; he's here, in Her temple, and if there is anyplace that the answer might come...SehKy's assumed command of the group and tour is welcome and he doesn't interrupt but follows the elf's lead.  Slipping out a skein of the thick grey silk, he winds it into a slender string and prays to Ilsare in musical intonations that don't make it to words.  Inspiration, my Muse.  Just a little inspiration.

*The elf guides the group to the inner halls, a set of fountains can be seen in the garden by the window as the group passes, the people on the outside are just lazying around ( or what seemed to be lazying around ), and others focused on their creative works, an ocassional scream of happiness as one artwork is finally over ( or started its hard to tell )

*Finally the elf guides you all to small area that has been arranged with plenty of veils, the place seems magical, the veils help to describe the motions of your bodies as you move into the small room, there the elf stays at the entrace*

The Nave Talia is in this room *he anounces*

*As you enter the room moving the veils away you see a small and slender figure in the end of the hall her features hidden under a cloak and hood, the unmistakeable red eyes in the darkness of the room ( those with low light vision, may still find hard to see in here, but those who doesn't have it, will feel at times in total darkness. *

Red eyes in the darkness.  A Nave of Ilsare's.  He bows deeply with his arms at his sides.  It is two-fold; instinctive respect, she is a Nave; and with his eyes parallel to the floor and his hair hanging around his face, she can't see how conflicted he is.  He's in a room with two dark elven females.  The pain in his left shoulder is suddenly as fresh as the day he woke with his tattoo.

*As Ty passes through the veils, she seems to be moving in a way that would tell she is trying to move through them without touching them, looking around and up from time to time, she seems to be turning on her self as she moves, to take in the sight, all the while, just like when she is in combat, very fluid, almost like dancing. When she finally reach the spot where Andrew bows, she herself bows in respect and stays bowed.*

As if blown back into the past, she stiffens visibly, the calm that she tried to convey to Ty gone, and she keeps her head bowed completely averting her eyes from the naves, not that she could see them, and the hum now an old melody of her mothers, more to comfort herself in the darkness.

Is it always customary to meet guests in total darkness?  My previous trips here did no start as such and I would think it rude to those that do not have the ability to see under such conditions. I would hate to bump into someone or their art and ruin it.

Humming and listening to his own emotional turmoil.  Feel it; acknowledge it; then find a thread of calm.  She's a Nave and beloved of Ilsare.  She is NOT one who starved you and carved you.  We both love Ilsare.  Focus on that.  

The bard takes a few long breaths as he stands out of his bow.  "Thank you Milady Talia, I am very honored to meet you...if suffering for actions in my past."  Honestly put and he forces himself to look into those red orbs.  He doesn't hide his discomfort now, nor is it as strong as when he first entered the room.  He does find himself rubbing the scar on his shoulder.

*Ty is being pushed forwards towards where Talia is, as SehKy moves Ty forward the veils dance around him, for those in the back now the true intent of the room can be understood upon observing SehKy pulling Ty forward you see how SehKy and Ty's shape's movements are followed by the veils, allowing you too "see" the motion as if it was a continual series of events, this is well able for an observer to see where and wehn people comes to you, you realize this is the way Talia knew you were coming even if she may not seen you with the current enviroment of the room.*

Throughout the years that I have known Sehky and his wife, I have come to learn of Ilsare and feel attracted to her, the beauty of the arts and also music and how they moved me inside, but I have yet to find my own place in it, as I am not so much an artist as I am an appreciative person of the arts. My journey here with the others helped me understand that it's not the talent, but the feelings and emotions put in what you are doing that makes it special, that I understand, it's till all new to me though not to feel that I have to be perfect at it. I have even painted for the first time of my life, as we camped not too far from here *she giggles shyly* But I am still seeking my place, what I could bring of me.. my own art. I don't sing.. or do music, and at best my painting is of a childish interest, although fun to do. But I still need to find my place in all of this, and with that acceptance. My first meeting at the Hlint shrine didn't go that well, their reaction to me quite understandable, but I was wondering how you, yourself made your journey and how did you get the others to see past the markings and the color of our skin that is our stigma, to the person within?

They don't and never will see me as other thing as what I now, what -we- are. And nothing can change that. This is part of what we are, this doesn't make me any diferent in the eyes of Ilsare, I choosed to follow her cause she inspires me to be a better person, but i understand and somehow thank the mistrust of my peers, that means that the rest of our people who wish to cause harm to the muse will be stopped before that happen, Ilsare its not often about the exterior, it start with the self and your inner feelings regarding you.

Our skin is a burden we'll never be able to get rid of, *Smiles* a test of sort, that is one of the reasons that as you see i wear heavy cloaks and robes over my body, I am what I am, and on that I am a servant of Ilsare, and that is what matters to me and to her, Its my joy to make creative works, and i praise her in being alive to keep creating so i kept myself away of the dangers that the outside world may bring upon me for my skin. Through Sehky and Keela, his wife, I learned to really listen and look, to let the beauty that you find all around you move you. I would say that at this point, what really inspires me the most, is how she inspires people not only to be better that they can be, but how she inspires them also to do the most simplest thing with utter love and beauty in it, just as much as if they were creating the most amazing painting.

Well... that was .. unexpected to say the least.  

And yet that is not dancing young one.  To be graceful doesn't mean to dance, to move and jump, dodge its not the dance itself, and the art and the battle would not mean the same and yet the skill that is used for that can be turned into something more positive and hence beautiful, The dance has a rhytm, and goes with a flow like one leaf following the wind, the music that is around you, the pulses that makes you feel the music, that is to dance, a battle goes for survival itself, its about not being where the hit will come, dance on the other way is the other way around, its about following the rhytm and being "hit" with it, Its about being on the right place on the right moment, not about not being there, do you understand what i say ?

*The woman start to give small paces following the music first to the front and then towards one side, not in a wild motion as a a figth would be but in cadency and a chain of movements that make them all look as one, it is slow first giving her, this steps Ty is able to follow with some effort,*

*The music flow and even if its natural for The nave the motion, she slows down to show Ty the motion, slowly moving around the room, her body making an echo with the veils, after about half our she finishes and looks full, the dance she did even if at slow rate leaves you amazed with the grace and understanding of the music, she looks over to Ty whom has by now be perhaps a bit tired of the effort, and smiles a bit, a strong calm can be felt by her ( or her way of actiong though, as if being really happy, not passing the feeling to you though ). *

*She looks upon Ty for a moment curiosity on her eyes*

Panting slightly not from exhaustion but more from the discipline of following what Talia was doing instead of letting her natural stance take over.*

Her heart skips a bit, the music she had been so focused on falters, and she lowers her piccolo, her eyes widened and she looks between the Nave and Ty, taking her own time to think before answering but not to long as their attention seemed to be for the moment focused on her, and she is making them wait.

At first unsure of how to answer, even though part of her would automatically respond yes as she had learned to do among the dark elven mistresses and masters. But it strikes her she is being asked this time, not ordered and it is her choice to make, an opportunity for her to learn more about Ilsare too, who Andrew and Sehky have been trying to teach her more about, and when would she get a second chance to be in this position?

"I would be honored to join you if you truly wish?" bowing her head respectfully.

Returning her hug, albeit briefly, Andrew gives Cord a smile and heads out with Jil and SehKy.  He doesn't follow them outside, however; their seamless closeness, her smiling whispers...their own company will make music enough for them.  Let Ilsare sing for them tonight.  He himself can hear the siren's song of grey silk strands and polished yew and doesn't fight it.  It will be a long night with Amati - but in this focal point of Ilsare's Inspiration, miracles can happen, and he's praying they will.

I am indeed glad you are enjoying your stay, this of course comes from not only a moment or it is and not at the same time, its the moment that brings the inspiration , but the practice is what will let you really improve , Some people says that dancing its a discipline, but that point can be debated, if you dance and feel the music, you will start to dance diaily, if you enjoy doing it , it is hardly a practice but something you enjoy doing if it make sense? So the practice comes with doing something you enjoy and naturally as you keep dancing you improve yourself.  If that make sense of course.

*The room asigned to Ty is a cozy one, with furniture carved in wood and as dark as the previous room has been, the room has been prepared with a Tub on one corner and the corresponding room dividers for her acomodation, the whole place its decorated with images of dancers and quite elven in nature, there are evne some tastes of art that may look so rash for the usual sights that has been seen, apparently more fitting to the dark elf violent attitude that is natural to that race, and yet they are still fine works of art that describes several scenes over the whole place.

The bed is prepared a small simple bed that despite the size seems to be quite cozy and the mattress is soft,the pillows filled with feathers of exquisite birds*

The ilsareans in there are able to get you standard common rooms into the area, but there is nor really much sense of "property" in the inn For the rest of the group you see people walking freely into the inn ( there are some that on their own time seem to have no time for what people would think ) . there are people who doesn't seem concerned about if its day or night and they sleep as the moment come.

*The next morning comes with the well needed rest after so much time on the field, and you all are called for a breakfast with the Nave at their quarters, As you approach the nave you see that there are a feast of food in the table that is ready for the guests, There are music and for a change the room is filled with dim light to make it easier to those with "surface" eyes to see and interact*

*The time passes good with calm emotion and joy shared amoung friends, eventually the Nave speaks*

Today my good fellows its a good day, We share this boon of the lands with great joy and mood, may the inspiration bring this to us all as we enjoy this boon in good company of friends.

*The time of with the nave pass fast, as she instructs Ty into the art of Dancing, alongside some other of her students, she is kind and caring for you thru the students and the people around you, She excuses of your presence after a couple weeks bidding you all her farewell, saying that she has something to go for the moment, but of course you are welcomed to stay.

After this the time for the staying goes smoothly in relaxation and joy, till you finally decide to depart.

*Once you are back into the road, at least one month has happened since your arrival, you'll learn that the dark elf in Lilac was hung about 2 days after you left, and the town made a big party about its death, it seemed to have raised the spirits and the morale, with all the bad things that have happened of late upon Mistone*

*You may have a sour feeling on this, aside the joy of the visit and how harsh the world out there is, its hard to really try to search for the light, its hard to find joy on an art when people rejoices of death, ( some of you would have not any against the death of a dark elf though ), As you walk back towards your lives, the time spent on the Breath remains clasped in your hearts , giving you joy and inspiration at least for the travel back to the main roads*
