The Old Man is Itching for a Fight...

Shiff Dragonheart, one of the Heroes of Hurix and a long time member of the Adventuring community, has become tired of upstart bandits trying to make a name for themselves by trying to kill him.  He's also getting tired of having to resharpen his sword after he cuts them to ribbons.

Shiff approaches everyone he can think of, looking to enlist.  The Lord of Haven, the Guards around Hlint, the Garrison at Blackford...  one after the other.  Is there anyone willing to give the old man one last chance at glory before he's -too- old...

Because we all know an ninety year old Stone-Bound Adventure ages like a -normal- person...

//Dear DMs.  I would like to send Shiff out with a bang, but... perhaps as an NPC.  With a war brewing, and the PC I'm focusing on likely to sit on the sidelines and try to pick up the pieces on Mistone, I'd like to give the old Hero to the DM team.  I would like to talk about it first, on IRC, to see if it is the best option, since I haven't played him seriously outside of RP for months.
