Andrew, just in the door after returning to the Buckle, gets the notice and and begs Autumn to stay with Ty until Tyra can come, and to write her to do so.  He loads up sacks with all the healing supplies they were storing for the clinic and rolls a few empty kegs left over from Weary Traveler days to the portal.

Letting the staff know to use their judgement on whether to stay open in light of recent events and the intense construction, he puts Michael in charge, leads Sonata to the portal, and pushes the barrels ahead before following with the sacks and his horse.

In Center is Ribeye, his trusted - well, placid - ox.  Unhappy to have his meal and rest disturbed the ox only tolerates having the kegs and sacks strapped to him.  Andrew, Sonata, and Ribs make for Hlint, stopping in Krandor to rent or buy a wagon and check the hospital for anyone - KART would be useful right about now!.  The kegs are filled with water that smells now faintly of hops and malt, and using Sonata as a wagon horse - a role she seems to know, from some time in her past - they head to Hlint.

After falling in the final assault on Moraken's, Steel awakens from Hlint's bindstone. Despite the miles of distance between Hlint and the tower, he can still hear the breaking booms created by Moraken's magic. He wonders if there are even any trees still standing near the tower. Shrugging off the fatigue, he surveys the carnage. Dead body after dead body. Many of them in more than a few pieces.

Helping to clear out any remaining cultists, Steel stays around Hlint for a few days, cleaning up the mess and recovering from his own wounds. He intently searches the bodies of the fallen Cultists, as though looking for something in particular.

As the call goes out for aid, he assures his former teacher, Elohanna, that although it would take more than a month for supplies to reach Hlint from Leringard, he can offer a donation of True and spirits (alcohol for the wounds), both of which he can teleport directly to Hlint (or rather, some distance outside of it due to the quarantine) or Fort Llast as needed within a few days (being that he can carry the goods himself).

EDIT: To be clear, Steel was in Hlint before the battle at Moraken's was finished.

*clarification:  Those of the group that left to defend Hlint also saw to the burning of all dead, the patching up and mending of all wounded.   All cultists were killed and all of their bodies, Myrdrachs and others, were taken outside of the city and burnt there to avoid any possible explosions as recently has been known to happen.  The city was in shambles, but was slowly being repaired after the battle until it was seen fit that those who had been evactuated to Ft. Llast could be returned to their homes.*

Quote from: Rowana
Within two weeks reports go out to the world that Hlint is quarantined. No one allowed in or out unless given special permissions from the Queen or Aeridites at this time!

*nudges this for visibility*

Two weeks after the attack, no one will be allowed back into their homes in Hlint if not already within the town's walls.  Whatever aid that is brought after that time, which will be most of it given the distances involved, will be intercepted outside of the city walls and brought inside only through a procedure meant to minimize the exposure of those outside the gates to those quarantined on the inside. Only a scant few individuals with authorization are permitted to enter and leave the town under any circumstances.

The Queen has declared a state of emergency for Hlint and has granted authority to the Aeridinite Sisters of Rebirth for managing the containment, with members of the Queen's forces tasked at enforcing these containment orders, with lethal force if necessary.

Housing portals in Hlint and teleportation to and from Hlint have been rendered inoperative due to a portal dampening field set up by a contingent of Lucindites who aided in the defense of Moraken's tower.

((Yes, these are all RP-only, at the moment. Please don't make us contain or kill your characters.  Respect the signs at all the entrances to Hlint, please.))

For further clarification, Hlint was evacuated during the attacks, and while some accepted the offer of Fort Llast, some 450 miles distant give or take, others went to stay with family while the rest stuck it out in a safe zone until the battle had ended.  Most of those who stayed returned to their homes within days and tried to go about resuming some degree of a normal life. For the most part, it is this subset of the population who are now quarantined, along with those defenders and support personnel who remained in town during the battle.

Upon discovering the Cultists bodies that attacked Hlint to have been burned, and sometime before the days the Quarantine is announced, Steel is seen searching the bodies scattered near Moraken's tower, even as they are being cleaned up.

At some point after the clean up is done, Steel is seen conferring with various other adventurers and people of note. Apparently, he did not find what he was looking for.

Evidently there are a number of people searching the Cult bodies in the days that followed the attacks. Including members of the Phoenix Quill on behalf of Moraken.

Its soon clear that what they are searching for is a plant that was rumoured to be in Moraken's possession that could have been used against dragons.

*sometime after the Voraxian's meeting, voraxian patrols are dispatched to the roads leading to Hlint, Krandor and Fort Last to protect the many caravans that are coming to the aid of the people in Hlint.  These patrols of dwarves are clad in Voraxian colors and ensignia.  They are charged in keeping those sending aid safe, helping to carry and haul things and what ever else is needed to speed the recovery along.*

*In addition, Voraxian Healers are sent to report to Fort Last and Krandor to aid in the tending to to the sick and injured.  They ask be stationed where they can help most and will help in any way they can*

**The Voraxian healers are welcomed in Ft. Llast with open arms though there is not a great need for extra healers. There is some eye to have extra on hand in case of a spread of the disease in Hlint and Ft. Llast's largely Toranite healer population make the Voraxians as welcome as they can.

The same assistance offered in Krandor is generally appreciated but they are politely but firmly told there is no extra need at present
((this excludes Krandor's Hospital, but refers to the Healing House and other normal local providers that might be in presence there.))*
