Haven, Near Arindor's Demise
« on: May 15, 2010, 11:52:17 am »
*Adder sat under a small tree approximately 25 miles from Arindor's demise with a substantial pile of dead animals laying around him. A small red devil with a long forked tail made its way through the thick underbrush and dropped a dead badger onto the ground. Adder began chanting foul arcane magics, raising the corpses into a state of undeath and sending them away to wander aimlessly through the forest. After this was complete, he pulled out a worn tome and used it to transport him to the location of his next task*

Rumours begin to circulate in the areas around Haven concerning undead animals in the surrounding woods. No attacks have resulted, they just seem to be wandering around leaving a putrid stench and pieces of their bodies in their wake.

Within shadowed rooms, in the dark corners of Layonara, letters are drawn up. As with many things in this world the simplest of occurrences are the first few raindrops of the storm that is soon to follow. In these times of Green Dragon Cultists, tidal waves, civil war and Dark elf Necromancers it's is all to easy to forget that the greatest threat lies much closer to home.

It is not so very long before the first ranger appears. Silently from the trees he cautiously emerges making notes before slipping away.

A patrol of Toranites and what appeared to be a young but decisive Undead slayer called at Haven for supplies and rest on what seemed the first official reaction to the troubles. They seemed in no rush to move off and may have been waiting on further arrivals, though many toranites are thought to be held in service elsewhere.

*For once Argos stands happy for not being stick to the said chain command and he presents himself to help as much as i can, he carres bandages and potions, as well as blue bright sword, standing ready for the movement.

He does not stay with the big group, but would present his blade and his willingness to help.*
