Rumor in Vehl has it that a dark and somewhat forboding figure of an elven male shrowded in black stood on the docks of Ft. Vehl recently, waiting for a ship to come in. As the passengers departed from the ship, a dark woman of elven proportions was seen to have come ashore and walked over to him. Their meeting seemed as if two lovers had been reunited... and yet... somehow... wrong. After what seemed like some intimacy and a bit of talk, the two suddenly broke apart, and walked on board another ship as if strangers.
"It was just... odd," said one man. "I mean, I've seen a fella waitin' fer a gal afore, but... they was jest... real fierce about it. Like they hadn' seen each other inna long time... but... like... animals. I dunno really. Both offem jest gimme the willies. I reckon I know what they was, but heck iffn I'm gonna say it out loud. They migh' come fer me nex' time."
