Whose life was cut unfortunately short by Trollocs.
May the Lady of Spells forever watch over her soul.

Mm... *Tod stands in faint lighting of a nearby lantern and face slowly falls in sorrow and sadness at what is announced and wipes his eyes on the back of his sleeve.* Bye Missus Amanda... *He whispers and turns and slowly fades in the dusk, with slow but determined steps.*

*Rumors abound of a drastic increase of trolloc bodies littering the Great Forest.  They apear to be torn apart by something very large.  No desecration is evident, just very bloody deaths.*

*Essa's jaw drops as she hears the news, the drink in her hand hovering short of reaching her mouth.  Pushing the drink back to the bartender, she stands and leaves the tavern.*

"I just ain't in the mood fellas, I gotta go."

A platinum blond can be heard to remark when finding out

Well who'd have thought the old letch would outlive her....  Faking death might be easier to save face for her than divorce from that one. She hides out for fifty years or so until he's dust and ...
If really did fall for good, well *shrugs*...

**The knight clad in blue and gold is striken off guard listening to the news, he looks down for a moment, Closing his eyes for some minutes in contemplation *

A fine soul has left us today, This world would be much better with people like her.

**he closes again his eyes raising a plea and a prayer for the departed soul, then heads down the road toward Hempstead , preparing an arrangements of blue flowers to be sent to her burial place .

Trouble wanders by the board, bouncing his rubber ball as he goes. Seeing the picture of Amanda, he stops in his tracks and grins, walking over to read it with a wry grin.

Lips move slightly as he reads whats written.
His face pales, like the blood drains from him... and the rubber ball drops from lifeless fingers and goes rolling across the floor and down into the nearest drain.

As though suddenly drained, he rests his forehead against the poster, head bowed.

" I'm.. so sorry. I never ... had a chance to... take it back. To explain... why I said it. We both needed it .... but.... the words weren't supposed to ... stay forever."

He pulls his head back slowly, quickly wiping tears away and hurridely looking around to see if anyone saw him. Shaking his coat, smoothing down his shirt, he clears his throat and blinks back any further tears. There were more to come.. he knew that... but not yet.
Slowly, he runs a finger down the cheek of Amanda's portrait and steps back.

" Maybe... maybe in the next run... our timing will be better. Catcha ya later Princess."

With another quick look around to make sure no one was watching, Trouble takes yet another red rubber ball from his pocket, and lays it reverently at the base of the poster, before he hurries off to grieve elsewhere.

There is a pause, whether the news finds its way through the mouth of another, or on the folds of paper, and the killer stands silent. Dried blood flaking off midnight skin, he mutters something. A prayer perhaps?

"Wicked guide you and protect you on the way to your Lady."

When the news finally reaches Drexia, she is simply at a loss for words. Finally, after a long period of stunned silence, she simply mutters in elvish "Another life cut off centuries too soon," and begins to make her way to more civilized parts of the world, to find others touched by the news.

Argali lets out a long sigh, and furrows her brow.

"Amanda was one of the nicest elves that she knows."

When Vrebel reads the sad news he shakes his head in disbelief and shock.  He then wanders away to gather his thoughts and comes back a bit later to the poster.  He gently lays a shot glass filled with freshly plucked rose pedals at the base of the poster.

"I will miss you Amanda"

*Keppli just stands completely still in shock her mouth hanging slightly open and her eyes full of  sadness as if she can't believe the news she has just heard.
Sinking to her knees she sniffles despite getting a few strange looks from passersby.
She mumbles to herself...
"no no no... not fair, not now...."

Benjamin reads the poster and his face droops revealing the years he's seen.  Rubbing his usual stubble and giving a good itch to his mustache with a forefinger, he mutters, "We've both lost our lights, old man.  I jest hope ya don't loose yer hope as well.  Veew Fa, Miss Amanda" With that he plucks a yew arrow from his quiver and lays it point up against the wall below the poster and walks away.

A pair of women, one with long, dark hair that dusts the ground, the other with her raven locks pulled into a neat pony tail, walk arm-in-arm through the city.  Upon seeing the poster, they stop and read it over.  The pony-tailed woman purses her lips for several moments and then shakes her head.

"Shame," she says quietly to her companion. "and she never accepted our offer."

She turns her head to look at the other woman, her face studying the other's.

The long hair of the second woman is swept back by a flick of her wrist. She nods briefly to the pony tailed speaker and clucks her tongue disapprovingly.

"A shame," she echos quietly, something in her expression going stony.

Xaltotun sighs when he hears the news.

"She was a wonderful woman Storold and I can only imagine how you must feel.

If there is anything I can do...."
