A Rumor from Fort Vehl's Harbor

Apparently a ship has been chartered at great expense by an elven traveller.  He has asked around the Harpy and the Arena for any able-bodied man who is willing to explore the wildest parts of the Dragon Isles.  Anyone interested was asked to meet at the docks at the appointed time.

The final preparations are being made, and as soon as a favorable wind comes up, the chartered ship will set sail for the mysterious ilsles.  A messenger boy is hired to make one last call around the bustling and seedy port, asking any adventurers, daring and brave, to come on a trek for lost treasures.

The chartered ship returns to Vehl's port a month later.  The same gray-haired elf disembarks with a small company like-minded people.  He has a darker mood to him than when he left, and the experienced traveller would see it was more than road-weariness.
