One for the druids and rangers
« on: February 28, 2014, 04:48:39 am »
Foresta Fiveoaks of the Five Oak Grove within the fog has been commissioned to recover a blue Macaw that escaped from Hilm castle. So far she has been unable to recover it and has offered an ethically sourced reward for anyone who can return it to Hilm castle alive. //valid while server remains up

Look this is just one bird here -there are thousands out there, paint one blue for goodness sake! Well no I mean I'm sure they'd notice. We need the real deal here!

*Word comes on from the winds

*Word comes on from the winds whistling through the oaks near Hilm that the famed blue macaw has been found.  It was released safely into the wilds of the nearby witheredlands as Hilm appeared too civilized for such a fine specimen.  The trees speak of a scruffy dwarven druid with a frosty beard and a scantily clad well-toned woman having aided in this venture.  Foresta of the five oaks clan of the mists should know were to find them.*

Fabulous news that sends

Fabulous news that sends hearts soaring into the skies.

Foresta has returned to her client at Hilm Castle with the glad tidings. For this a reward is to hand and will be passed over to the diligent druid and his assistant. However the client has held back some reward and the bird trainer at the castle who is not so easily intimidated will need to persuade her master that it is a good arrangement for him to visit the bird in it's natural habitat in the withered lands rather than cage it within the castle.

Anyone who feels they can help persuade the bird trainer to speak to her master is encouraged to go Hilm Castle. Foresta will throw in a reward for anyone who succeeds.

So far the bird trainer remains unconvinced!

*Zig nods and offers a warm smile to the protectorates at Hilm Castle's gates before entering.  He wanders around aimlessly looking for the "bird trainer" in hopes of convincing him to allow the blue macaw to remain in its free state.  If or when he finds him he'll do his best to convince the poor sap that keeping a bird in a cage won't be in the best interest of the bird or his*

//gonna be outa town for a week so won't be able to do any IG on this for a bit....go for it Ygraine!

Vincent Coste is admitted to

Vincent Coste is admitted to the castle and soon fimds the bird trainer having a one sided conversation with a parrot. "My dear woman I see you are quite busy here with this uncooperative and may I suggest unhappy parrot. Birds like their freedom, why this blue macaw the Druid returned to the nearby forest can be heard and seen from the castle walls enjoying it's natural environment. What do they say a bird in the forest is worth two in the hand!" She looks at him and then to the nearby empty cage and back again. "Whose a poor persuader!" The parrot chippers somewhat conveniently. The bird trainer smiles at the luckless adventurer. "See even the parrot knows the macaw should be in the castle now go away and adventure somewhere else!"
