Daniel blushes at his mistake muttering something to the effect that is it improper for Center to lack any sort of civil leadership. Offering his apologies and thanks to those that helped him he makes his way the Bullseye Inn and makes some inquiries of the Innkeeper there on who precisely would constitute citizens of the trading village. Once this crude census is finished, he tries to persuade the merchants that hiring a guard or three for common defense would be in thier own best interests for the time being.
With crude census in hand, Daniel makes his way to Vehl to research the requirements of establishing a proper village under Brelian law.
