She shows them the goods in question, ingredients to make healing potions and already made potions. She also explains to them that even if the bird stays into the compound it will eventually disappear as it is a magical summon that she called forth to aid her with the task.
The guard's eyes widen with some alarm, and he calls over a nearby mage and points to the bird."All the more reason to keep the beast out," he says firmly. "Summon's gotta come from somewhere, and when it goes it could carry the contagion with it."
The mage nearby spies the bird and casts a spell. A moment later, the bird vanishes from the sky, safely on the outside of the wall.
"We send supplies in once a day, lady," continues the guard. "If you want your things sent in we'll gladly see to it with everything else, but if you keep trying to defy the Queen's orders, we'll make bloody well sure you're not allowed within a mile of these walls...by every means we have."
He points to a few carts laden with supplies. "Now, if you wanna help, add your things to that, and we'll make sure they get in. If not, keep on acting like the rules don't apply to you and it'll be on your head."
