The Aragenite community and the medical fraternity are much saddened as news of the brutal murder of Ludwig Venderwen begins to circulate.
Dr Ludwig Venderwen, a much respected medical researcher (though little known outside these somewhat insular communities) with a specialty in treating infectious diseases, was found slain and burned almost beyond recognition amidst the charred and ruined interior of his family home. A number of hired guards present were also found slain, their bodies rent and torn, apparently by the claw or tooth of a rabid beast.
Though his death is without doubt murder most foul, little more is known as to the motivation, identity or whereabouts of his assailant/s.
