Title: The Information Market
Post by: Lalaith Va'lash on June 12, 2008, 07:52:38 am
*Quiet chatter in taverns and Inn's in Vehl, Port Hempstead, and Fort Wayfare whisper of a colorful halfling peddling a story on relics and some sort of challenge. The price for the bulk of this tale has seemed to rise over the course of the month, thusly most common folk know little more than that.*

*As rumors continue to circulate the name Delilah, or "Deli" begins to accompany the description of the halfling in the tale.*

*A young monk in a common priest's robe walks quietly between Port Hempstead and Fort Vehl, moving from one fishing spot to another. After cooking his catch, he enters Fort Vehl to try and sell some fish, as well as eavesdrop on a little new information at the Scamp's Mug. He listens in, nothing new. Talks of dragons frighten him; he tunes the people out. Minutes later, a familiar story dances around his ears. He smirks to himself, keeping his face hidden under his hood. Better not give away anything. As he delights in his secret, he hears the utterance of the name Delilah. His smirk quickly turns to a frown and his head rises quickly. He shudders, cursing under his breath, "Rude little halfling scamp!" Near a dozen faces turn to look at him, perplexed, before going back to their nightly rituals. He stands up and walks out, shaking his head, before sinking his teeth into a piece of cooked trout.*
