*Sion might have been seen Heading to the hammerbound peaks, should he be recognized. Note's on his collecting service made note that he would be gone for a seveal days, and order's might be delayed.*

Rumours around the Temple of Toran suggest that slayers were dispatched to follow up a sighting around Mariner's hold. It appears a man was seen forced onto a small coastal ship near mariner's hold. Nothing has been reported back to the temple at this time.

Rumours have it that Snagnor Hornblower is searching for those of the temple of Toran to speak to them urgently.

Daniella Stormhaven was seen speaking briefly to Mr. Hornblower in Port Hempstead recently.  They spoke fairly quietly, and Miss Stormhaven's face looked grave.

The latest word from Fort llast is that determined efforts by Torantites across Layonara have uncovered some clues and thoughts, however the whereabouts of Quantum or any of his kidnappers remains uncertain. The sacrafice made by some individuals is unstinting however a sense of urgency is now upon the temple as concerns regards Corathite activity increases.

*Chaynce returns from Katharian, after a tip from a kind soul in a crafthall, with news of a small boat capable of running rivers and a barrel on the docks. He gives Daniella a charcoal imprint on paper of the boats name, the Black Wind. Daniella and Chaynce discuss these matters but Chaynce actually forgets to ask what to do next, smitten by her beauty as he was*

The Temple at Fort Llast was seen to burn the midnight oil over the last few days. There was a quiet anticipation as a significant number of poker faced messengers were seen to run hither and thither playing things close, revealing nothing. But no one could hide the sense of urgency and anticipation. During this time some prominent slayers were seen to arrive and remain at the temple.

A brief statement merely said that enquiries were continuing into the case of the missing Shining Hand of Toran.

Another chapter was brought to a close today with a short announcment from the temple at Llast confirming Paladins have concluded their enquiries at Fort wayfare where they confirm that a resident of the Caring Hope Inn was indeed torn apart by vampire attack as local Militia sources had suggested. They further concluded he was the man known to hunters as the Apple Pie Man - and had been resident at the Inn for a number of days. Corathite symbols were found among his possessions but nothing else of use to ongoing enquiries.

OOC : thanks to anyone who took time to get involved in this plot over the last few days, it will lead to a normal quest posting in due course.

Tod Fellow, Keppli Quickhands and the bard Howling Wolf have been out scouting looking for additional clues as the whereabouts of the abducted Q.

Up above the watchtower in the Ire Mountains the bard found an old loot bag containing some stale apple pie near what appeared to be a sealed shaft entrance dropping straight into the mountain. Is it an air vent?

Having entreated the dwarf not to eat the evidence Tod had taken the stale pie to see if it will aid the searching and will consult others on its significance or not.

Is this a connection to the Apple Pie man?

the trio await await further instructions on how their talents might be used.

A guard at the tmeple kindly explains that provided they remain fit and active and do not eat too much pie then it may be such an enterprising crew could assist an expedition into that complex, in the meantime they may wish to consult with anyone who has previously risked life and limb in that place for travelling tips.

ooc
Either way they should wait for news of an expedition on the calendar.

Upon hearing this, Sion confirms what is believe to be the trail of the suspect, having come across it just after Daniella had found it.
