Life is worth living because of the beauty found in the world and the love that draws hearts together. True beauty is more than skin deep. Believe in romance, as true love will win over all. Always follow your heart, for it leads you to your true destination. Perform loving acts, and seek to awaken love in others. Acquire beautiful items of all sorts, and encourage, sponsor, and protect those who create them. Find love wherever it takes root, and bring it to its fullest bloom so that all may share the joy and beauty it creates.
  Clergy Favored Weapon and Clothing:
Ilsare's clerics favor bows as their weapons. After all, Ilsare is the Archer of Love, and love indeed is like an arrow fired by a bow: it strikes swiftly and with great power. Ilsare's clerics favor beautiful clothing and any kind of armor works if it is needed, as long as it is beautiful. Red is the color of love and fiery passion and thus clerics of Ilsare often prefer red clothes.
  Clergy and Temples:
Ilsare's clerics are somewhat flighty and the hierarchy of the church is loosely organized. Ilsare's temples are always beautifully designed buildings with numerous interesting pieces of art decorating them. Clerics of Ilsare pray in the morning, after a refreshing bath and clothing themselves in whatever wonderful raiments they will wear that day. Their greatest celebrations are held every month beneath the full moons. These celebrations involve dancing, poetry and beautiful music. Romantically involved participants are said to experience the full bloom of their affections on such nights, allowing them to evaluate the strengths of their feelings. It is not uncommon for artists to unveil their latest work at such holy days as well.
Prayers to Ilsare are usually for situations involving love or art, and are often almost works of art themselves, as some can be quite long and poetic hymns. Clerics of Ilsare pray so that love may bloom. They pray when they watch an artist work so that Ilsare may bless their creation. For example, a cleric praying before creating a beautiful piece of clothing that can possibly help someone fall in love with the person who wears it: "Oh Ilsare, Heart of Gold, bless this dress I am about to craft with great beauty, and bless the one who is to wear it with your gift of love."
Ilsareans are also some of the most noteworthy followers of the Harmony of Life.
‘Ilsare’s Heart and Arrow’ is debated to be one of the most erratic constellations, as it’s actually two. One is a group of seven stars, even though ancient texts speak of eight, shaped like a heart, and the other is the shape of a slender arrow. Throughout the year the position of the Arrow in the sky changes. It has been recorded that not only does it move in a great circle around Layonara, piercing the night sky over the course of the seasons, but it also changes directions. Seeming to sometimes point North, other times pointing south, and on very rare occasions pointing down to Layonara itself.
Many great prayers are directed to Ilsare through her constellation, and on the occasion of the celebrations they hold each month beneath the full moon, the arrow of Ilsare points towards Ausir deigning that the time has come for her to bless her followers with beauty, passion, and love.
On very rare occasions, the Arrow pierces the Heart, and at this time, it is said that Ilsare’s blessing’s are strongest.
