Aho All
Craft Info is what I need and I might just be dumb and missing it but I am really lost. I do not even know if this is the right forum to be asking in. But I do have some questions and I am looking for one thing now.
  1. Is there someplace that explains a lot of the crafting system? IE; How to make things and what do you need to make it or are we just supposed to figure it out ourself?
  2. I was given somebooks when I first started the game but they are gone how Do I need them?
  3. Do the Craft weapon and craft armor do anything at qll in the game and if so how, they do not work as I am used to?
What I am looking for is the scabbard I see some people wearing they look like the Samurai ones that carry Katanas. Those are the weapons I carry.
I thank you all in advance

1) Try the Handbook, it explains the basics, and also there are basic books for sale at the merchants. You won't however find recipes for various crafts, nor do I recommend you to ask them on the forums, it's a great reason for character interaction.
2) That book should come back on your second login, it tracks your crafting levels.
3) Those skills help you customize your equipment more easily. Aside from that and roleplay value, no they do not serve a grander purpose.

The Craft merchants sell recipe cards for each craft.
Use them and a menu opens which explains what can be crafted. The percentage and what items are needed to make a specific item.

you can also lay any item in a craft station to have the menu appear.

You can also ask around Ingame/ In Character..lots of fun that way..

Even though my characters are far from craft masters... they like to show what they do know.
It's loads of fun to help someone that way...and you can get a lot of real good roleplay value out of it.
