*Tralek walks up to the auction with his hands over his ears, pushing past the spectators and town guards.  He looks at the auction board and notices Kobal's last bet of 210,000, but then see's some unrecognizable "scribble" in the other amounts.  He asks the Auctioneer to please read back the last accepted bet amount.  To that he will add 20,000.*

//sorry, but not sure if Filatus is betting 250,000 or if Rollins is betting 275,000, but Tralek will add 20,000 to the last valid bet.  (ie, if Kobal's bet of 210k is the last, then Tralek goes to 230k).

*Tralek rides slowly up to the auction table on his grey stallion, Schnapps.  He looks over at the "sold" sign and says quietly "So it is done".  He then hands the Halflings a small bag of true and a parchment with his contact information on it.  "This is a gratuity for you my fair halflings for a job well done.  I will collect the boots in a time soon to come."

With that he gives the Halflings a small nod and a half-wave and makes his way through the now-hushed crowd.*
