 [SIZE=24]----- New Business Operations Guidelines -----[/SIZE]
 
 Lanif Glass & Crystal is making some slight alterartions to our business operations that will further enhance service to our customers! As always our facilities are open all hours. Customers are welcome to visit the facilities any time so long as they follow the guidelines listed below.
 
 General Sales
 General sales products are found in any chest or display case that is labeled with a per unit price. As such, these products, when in-stock, are available for purchase by any customer at the rates posted on the chest or display case. Customers may simply leave payment for goods purchased in the same container from which the goods came. Generally, Lanif Glass & Crystal will try to provide glass and crystal products in the General Sales containers when time and resources are available after fulfilling our contracted orders for a given day.
 
 Contracts
 Customers will notice chests marked with the days of the week (in the Common tongue) as well as with names of individuals and a number. Currently there are 3 chests for each week-day. Do NOT take product or Trues from any of these chests unless your name is the name on the chest. Doing so will result in criminal charges of theft or business damages, even if you think you've left adequate payment for goods taken from those chests. These chests are placed and filled specificly to meet the needs of our Contract Customers who are listed above in the Current Contracts section. Contracted customers are instructed to remove product from their chests and leave payment in them just as if they were purchasing from the General Orders chests. In order to be able to serve a greater number of customers, and due to increasing demand for our products and limitted ability to keep up with demand, Lanif Glass & Crystal is now imposing a limit of 5 weekly contract chests per customer.
 
 Incomming Sand & Coal
 Lanif Glass & Crystal has several chests set up to receive sand and coal from those wishing to earn Trues through honest work. However, due to limitted space in our shop, we cannot buy more of these goods than we can use in a short timespan.
 
 If you're interested in becomming a provider of sand or coal for Lanif Glass & Crystal, here's how it works. Simply come to our shop and check the chests marked for Incomming goods of the type you're providing. If there is True in one of these chests it means we are currently accepting additional materials of that type at the rate posted on the chest. All you have to do next is place your goods in the chest, and remove the amount of True proportionate to the amount of goods delivered.
 
 Generally Lanif Glass & Crystal offers 28 Trues for each Bag of Sand, and 50 Trues for each Lump of Coal delivered. Since these offers may fluctuate, suppliers should always go by the rate posted on the Incomming goods chests.

Fehriel Cailomel, your interest in the 21 Crystal Rod I's is noted.  The items will be put on hold for you for a short period and delivered into your posession upon receipt of payment.  If the transaction cannot be completed in what I deem a reasonable time-frame, the hold will be lifted and the goods will be released for sale to other interested parties.

My sincere apologies Elgon.  After suffering some serious injury in a certain mine, I've been unable to attend to business for a short time.  I am back to full health now, however, should you care to make contact to pick up your order.  As such, I'll allow for some extra time to pick up your order if it is nescessary.

To address the curious individual seeking employment, I can only say at this point that I have not yet decided to hire any apprentices or take on business partners, but that may occur in the future.  If so, you will be contacted for an interview.

Gravas the glass from your last order was bought and paid for by another customer after it went into default.  If you would like to place another order, let me know and it can be arranged.  However, bare in mind I will not be happy should a second order also go into default and at that point I may choose to cease doing business with you.

As a note to all customers, I am currently in the process of transitioning my business operations to my new location in the Blackford Castle area.  As such, production of glass and crystal may be slowed, causing orders to take longer being fulfilled.  However, after this move is complete I may be expanding operations to possibly speed up production in other ways.  Please bare with me during this transitional phase.  Thank you.

Mister Elgon In'Darsus, I don't normally take single orders for more than two ox-loads at once.  However, we may be able to arrange your request as two seperate single orders to be filled in relatively quick succession.  Your contracted ox-load will also still be made available at the regular scheduled time next week.  Let me know if you'd also like to increase your contracted needs from one ox-load to two for regular delivery.

Lanif Glass & Cystal is looking for individuals to supply fine, high-quality sand for use in forging glass and crystal on an ongoing basis.  Pay is currently 750 Trues per 40 bags of sand.

The successful applicant for the Sand Supply Contractor position will engender the following traits:

• Honesty
• Dependability
• Perseverance
• Professionalism
• The ability to meet deadlines
• Their own supply of shovels
• A strong back and/or an ox to bear heavy loads of sand

No previous experience required.  Though locating suitable sources of sand may require the ability to dispatch dangerous creatures in some areas.

The new updates were just put into effect today, so your request wasn't out of line as such at the time it had been written.  Also, it's not really a reduction in your contract with the new policies.  Before you were contracted for 160 ingots of glass on a weekly basis, now you'll be receiving 180 Ingots per week, since all 5 chests will be full with 36 ingots of glass each.

It is my sad duty to make known that two of my customers have either by conscious choice, or by innocent mistake, violated the policies of my shop are removed goods not bleonging to them.  While both have left Trues in proportion to the goods taken, the matter stands that the goods were not earmarked for themselves, nor in chests designated for general sales.  I am allowing a few days grace for both customers to return the goods, and have dispatched letters via falcon to each of them to inform them directly.  If the goods are not returned in a reasonable amount of time I will regrettibly be forced to press charges in the courts and cancel the contracts of these customers.
 
 As a reminder of policy for all my customers, goods in the daily contract chests marked with someone else's name are not available for sale to you, and only the person who's name is on the chest is authorized to pick up goods from that chest, unless they've provided written authorization for another named agent to make pick-ups on their behalf.  Further, goods in chests marked with the word "Incoming" are NOT for sale.  Lanif Glass & Crystal does not sell raw materials, and materials in the "Incoming" chests are for use by Lanif Glass & Crystal in manufacturing finished goods for our customers.  The "Incoming" chests are set up so that those wishing to earn Trues by providing Lanif Glass & Crystal with raw materials may make delivery and receive payment in the most convenient manner.

 OOC - The customers who've taken goods not belonging to them have 48 hours RL time from the time of this post to return the goods taken and retrieve the Trues they left in place of those goods.

One of these issues was resloved, and appears to have been a simple mistake of a customer having a repressentative pick up their goods for them without first providing me with written authorization for that repressentative to act on their behalf.
 
 I am still awaiting resolution of the matter concerning the coal taken from my Incoming Coal chest by a different individual.  It is my hope this situation will be resolved promptly as well, as I'd hate to have to press charges through legal channels.

Important Announcement

 
 

As of this posting, Lanif Glass & Crystal will be suspending support for long-term contracts for our products and services. We apologize to our long-term customers for any inconvenience this may cause them. An effort will be made to continue meeting our contractual obligations due up to this date. As well, Lanif Glass & Crystal will continue to make glass and crystal products available for genral sale on a first come, first serve basis, as time permits us to continue manufacturing goods. Suppliers of raw materials are encouraged to continue to provide their sand and coal in trade as the Incomng goods chests will continue to be re-stocked with True.

 
 
 

The reason for these changes to service are due to my up-coming marriage, and that in all the preparations that are required for that, and the subsequent honeymoon I plan to enjoy following after, I do not foresee having as much time to devote to business. Should I find at a later date that I have more time again to devote to business, I will make an announcement to re-open long-term contracted business deals.

 Glass Ingots - 3 crates (36 units per crate) @ 65 True/unit (2340 True/crate)
 Crystal Rod I's - 36 units @ 450 True/unit (16200 True for all 36)
 Crystal Rod II's - 36 units @ 950 True/unit (34200 True for all 36)
 
 First come, first serve.  Simply visit Lanif Glass & Crystal at 173 Blackford Castle West, use the entrance facing the cliffs to access the shop.  Place your payment in the same chest or display case you purchase your goods from.
 
 If you bring livestock to carry goods, please use the stable entry on the other side of the building.  Livestock are not allowed in the shop itself for sanitary and cosmetic reasons.  Clean floors, free of ox-dung, are more attractive to many of our customers.
 
 
 Also now accepting the following while funds remain available:
 
 Bags of Sand - will pay 28 True/unit (1008 True/crate of 36 units)
 Lumps of Coal - will pay 50 True/unit (1800 True/crate of 36 units)

 Just stop by my shop any time and deposite the Trues in the chests that you remove the glass from.  The door to the shop (the one on the side of the house facing the cliffs) is always open.
 
 
 
 **OOC Note:  If there's been a recent server reset, the chests will not be in the shop until after I have a chance to get in-game and use my house-key to refresh the placeables.

There are currently two chests full of Glass Ingots in the shop and available for sale on a first come, first serve basis.
 
 Glass Ingots sell for 65 True each, or 2,340 True for 1 Chest-full (36 Glass Ingots).
