I have never seen such a tome sold, and thus I cannot say what a fair price might be, but I will open the bidding at 20,000, if you will accept that.

Raz, could you please specific what the Tome of Brotherhood does? I have not seen such tome before. I would like to know its purpose before I make a bid. Thank you.

Given your stated approach to handling bids, I hesitate to engage in a bidding war before learning what you want and whether you will accept our bids in the first place. I would be willing to barter high-end tailored goods (emerald-studded belts, mithril clothing, etc.), or I can continue to negotiate with true, but some indication of what you would like would be ideal before I continue to bid.

On this one item, I assumed there would be a bid war of sorts, and had no intention of accepting a first bid, unless it included:
Molvaren's Head, Jeadon Siphe's Head, Lister Tremaine's Head, or a date with Cyn Chen on my terms *.

I would have also accepted a trade for various magical items including and not limited to a Tome of Spellcraft V.

With that said and specified, I'd likely use the true or items from accepted bids for the war effort or fancy of the moment.
