Walking stick of the Hierophant for sale
« on: August 18, 2006, 01:30:45 am »
I am selling 'walking stick of the hierophant' for 1200gp.

This staff is a must for new wizards and druids as thier first magic weapon. It offers a +1 enchant and the ability to use sleep twice, the only catch is that when sleep is used twice the staff will dissapear! Though this is offset by the fact that it can be wielded with a shild. Its lvl req. is 4.

If you are intrested in this weapon please contact me (// ether IG or PM)

//I don't want to buy it, just make a correction. It doesn't cast sleep twice a day. It casts sleep two times and then the staff disappears from your inventory. Sorry if it sounds a bit rude, but  didn't want anyone to be disapponted because they spent 1200 gold on an item they thought was better than it actually is.

The merits of this humble stick are not widely known, but it is indeed an excellent first staff for clerics required to use quarterstaffs, wizards and druids.  It hits like an oak quarterstaff AND can be used with a shield.  It can be enhanced with extra damage as the owner progresses.  As a plus, enchantments and enhancements give no visible sign, yet work perfectly--a good way to dissemble, if you are so inclined.  The one caveat: DON'T use the sleep spells!
