Would the judges please care to explain how they managed to hand the top prize to the single entry that was ineligible to receive it? It clearly was completed after the deadline passed, and therefore was too late to receive consideration. This obvious and arbitrary violation of its own set rules is an embarrassment to the Academy, and combined with the hidden nature of the judging, smells strongly of favoritism. Selection for this contest should be made among those who actually adhered to the stated rules. If the judges for the Academy wish to employ Mr Mossfield to design other stationary, including the use of his seal, that is within their right. But it should have no part of this contest.
