There are some violent and sneaky branches and trees that attacked me rigth outside of Krandor near the bridge to Fort Llast.Be causious and remain on the path or you may be attacked. I had never seen them there before.

It seems you have run into some assasin vines. Nasty things. They seem to be next to the road permanently. So be carefull passing through there.
