Jaelle sits in silence by the fountain in Port Hempstead's Crimson Eagle Square. She stares into the water, glancing from time to time at the notices posted on the statue.

One or two passerby look at her oddly, whispering to each other about the strange rumors surrounding the woman, and how it is said that she was flown off by a woman with black wings from that very spot. Another claims he heard she was a witch who served an evil power ... a demon or a vampire or something. A third merely admits she's heard the whispers but has no idea whether there's any truth to it all.

Jaelle ignores them all, her face betraying little. Before she goes she takes one of the copies of the notice, folding it carefully into quarters and tucking it away. She leaves the other copies where they were posted.

*A tall man with slightly pointy ears and eyes, red hair and the right side of his face with tattoos and brandings, read the posters and takes one. He then walks away and disappears without a trace.*

* Captain Trent removes the posters and lets everyone standing around there know that a fine of 1000 gold will have to be paid by the person who set this up on one of the cultural highlights of the city. Even though the cause is good, there are plenty of other places for such posters. *
