Red and green gems, the hardiest of metals
« on: July 09, 2007, 11:55:43 am »
I would like to try, and mayhap organize a group to travel to the the deepest of the eastern lands known as Belinara. The goal for this journey would be the gems and ores valued so much by us who craft from them.

I can not distress enough of the danger that lays there, so none who doth nay deem him/herself to be capable shouldn't apply for this. Also, the members of the group should nay be bickering amongst each other, as this type of thing leads to a most certain destruction of their very lives.

I am also looking for a leader for this group, as I nay recall the way from my last time down there, and he/she should be accepted as such by the whole of the group (if there shall be any). I on the other hand can manage the coordination of the date, applicants and such.

Please write thy name and a date appropriate for thee below. I also would like to meet the group as a whole beforehand, so we can all discuss our roles and the rules of the journey.

Suggestions are welcome,

--Godim Harjumaa

//Of course, level limit of 20+ (except for clerics and arcane casters, they are fine as long as they can come to East server (lvl req. 17)

** Whilst wandering by the Inn, Sall spots Godim's note. A gleam appears in his eyes, an excited smile twists across his face and he grabs his quill from his pack and quickly signs his name.
As Tegan starts waddling down the road towards him, her bump obvious to see, he frowns slightly to himself and turns, quickly scribbling his name out **

I'd be glad for the chance to explore the underdark with a proper crew, having been there only once or twice. As to my effectivness you can judge. You know me well enough.

Depending on a date, I may be able to attend along with.

Signed above a single, red line,

//Kin's VERY close to 20, so she'll tag along if I'm at 20 by the time this run goes through.

*Fenrir eyes the list and adds his own*

You are going to need a lot more experience on this trip, if you intend to go for emeralds and mithril. This inexperienced lot will surely crumble.

*sighs and walks off*

~Rhynn

//Sorry I can't be committed to this, something may be planned at short notice or so forth. I can understand if you don't wanna take the chance. If you need the extra person at the last minute Ill go if not I understand, I can't be very reliable these next few weeks.
PS: Im covering up my RL hectic schedule with Rhynn's complete apathy. No hard feelings there I hope.//

Brualot, Investigator and Arc of the Arcane Circle would be happy to investigate this pace  - time permitting of course. He will bring th the cave table spells, knowledge and interesting investigation skills.

//This is forming nicely, and I'd like to give it another week of time to prosper.
Also, I am not available for this weekend due to a rock festival in a nearby town, and will probably come back monday. I am not locking a date and time yet, but would like you guys to organize with me, a time that fits for everyone.

    My suggestions:

    Friday 20th: 6pm GMT, 4am AEST, 2pm EDT, 11am PDT
    Saturday 21st: 6pm GMT, 4am AEST, 2pm EDT, 11am PDT

    Any thoughts?//

I think your times are a bit off. 6PM GMT is 1PM EDT. We're five hours apart, also you have EDT twice...I'm a bit confused ^^;.

Friday and Sat though, anywhere before 6PM my time are really the best times for me though, so Im interested.

the friday time could very well be the same as the quest : Restoration of Honour .

LOtF tries to play that every week ...so not sure if that would be a good time to run this .

Edit: Corrected. Oh, and there's a 4 hour difference between GMT and EDT ;)

//Isn't EDT right now -4 due to the hour ahead thing? I've noticed -4 seems to work more often than the GMT and EDT's usual -5.

I wish there was some easy way to check like... Right now.
