*Saira stops and looks at the sign before turning to the huge wolf at her side and nodding, the wolf smacks a huge muddy paw on the note in assent before both turn and walk away*

Across the lands of Layonara, the cold silent nights are suddenly invaded by a throng of a beautiful eastern song. The winds carry a message of hope as life anew springs forth. Birds all around return home as they sing in unison this strange captivating song. It seems to last forever as it unites once more into nature.

Thanks to all who replied.

As you might have heard the birds have indeed returned.
But still I think that a meeting between nature's keepers could not do harm.

The reason for this temporary disappearance has not been found yet and I think it might be a good idea for rangers and druids to get together to discuss.

I propose that we meet in Rangers Vale at the temple of Aeridin.
I am not sure what time will suit all, so please respond with a suitable time.

Jacchri

//I would suggest Friday evening, Saturday or Sundays. I am on GMT+1. If everyone has replied I will schedule a player event reasonably suitable to everyone.

*Listens to the song of our feathered friends and throws some seed on the ground*

I agree, the reason for their brief disappearance must be investigated to prevent the reoccurrence.

//The weekend is also the best for me however, I am GMT –11.

Plenarius looks at the messageboard and smiles slightly looking to his wife "Brisbane, love, it appears as though I need to tell a story."

She runs a hand down his feathered back and smiles to him softly.  "Yes you do Mr. Bird Lord", then she giggles.

He scribbles in charcoal underneath the message.

The Mother's eyes were fading.  Now reborn.  If you wish this not to happen again, have faith and believe in the balance.

Rhizome walks gently into the conversational space and stands quietly listening.  After a while, and when it seems that at least a few people have noticed and recognized him, he speaks softly.
"Comrades, indeed a meeting is in order.  And Aerdin's Grove in the Sielwood is an excellent place for it.  Beyond the importance of making connections between Nature's defencers, I think the first objective of such a meeting should be to clearly establish our objectives.  There are some events and issues transpiring in our world which demand our immediate and prolonged attention.  But if we are focussed on other minor and tangential issues, then we may be expeding our energy less efficiently than we should."
"This issue with the birds, for example, is something that we should all understand, as it relates to a newly elevated one of Nature's defenders, and a new resource for us.  However, belaboring the means by which it happened and how to prevent it from happening in the future will lead us down a long winding road which ends at Eon.  It is much more crucial, at this time, to focus our energies on what we can do about Eon and his attempt to establish a working Bloodwell on Mistone, than it is to research ways to prevent the bird anomaly from occuring in the future."
//I'm usually available in the PST nights, from 9 pm pst to 2am pst or later.  I like the idea of a meeting.  If it turns out that our time zones are too incompatable, perhaps we can have a RP discussion here.

At least the birds' temporary disappearance has now been explained.

Congratulations and good luck with the new responsibility to Plenarius.

I agree with Rhizome that a meeting still would be beneficial.
Please attend the meeting if you want to join this cause.
