Gloin
20
300k or so

It's been a long strange trip so far in the life of Gloin. A healer in the service of Vorax, Gloin's days were spend doing odds and end work for some well known Hlint towns folks. Doing odd jobs for the undertaker, a merchant plagued by goblins, and retreaving lost documents, were just a few of the things that were part of Gloin's early training.
One day while shopping in local merchants in Hlint with close friend, and being shocked at the high prices, an idea was hatched to make thing affordable to the local adventures. The Orc Basher Merchant Guild was born. Dedicated the the arts of crafting, and supplying finely crafted items. Soon a house was needed to hold the supplies. At the same time membership grew also, which required a larger building , so a guild hall was built.
Thing's were going well till the Drow invaded Hlint. It's was a dark time, roads full of Drow warriors, the town itself was plagued by the dreaded assasins. Of coarse Glon and his fellow Bashers rose to the challenge. Fighting off the Drow took weeks but in the end they retreated back to the dread underdark. Adventure after adventured followed. Gloin's armor and weapon crafting skills increased, soon even the Queen herself was requesting weapons and armors, as all ways the demand was met.
Months of quite passed, but soon a call for heros was once again sounded. It seems that Bloods forces were on the move, and that The Dragons were needed to help stem the advance. Making deals with dragons is offten more than not a losing proposition. With much humbleness and quite a few erronds we were able to get the surviving dragons to help fight Bloods forces.
After this Gloin returns to the life of a shop keeper. Keeping a store stocked can be quite alot of work, gathering items, crafting them to usefull tools takes much work and time. One night after the last patron had left, Gloin looked up the shop and decided on a few ales before heading home. one turned into three, four turned into nine, and like any good dwarf soon twenty or so ales were consumed. Stagering out the door heading home Gloin hears a quiet but stern voice " my son you have strayed from the true path".
Those words echo through his mind the next few days. Figuring it was the ale from that night he put it out of his mind. Three days later again walking home from the shop, a bright light hits him and he is knocked to the ground like a blind man. This time a booming voice echos in his head "you have strayed from the true path, my people need you". Holding his head and quite blind somehow he made his way home.
Sitting in a chair Gloin neither ate nor drank for three days, going over and over the words that he heard. On the night of the third day, aknok was heard upon the door. Fumbling to get the door, a voice was heard opn the other side " open cousin i am here to heal you". Opening the door and old and wisen Dwarf walk in, and in a few hours time taught Gloin the meaning of the vision. The last thing that was said to him as the sagely Dwarf "Heed the call lad, yer kin needs ya", with that the blindness left, and Gloin was left to ponder those words.

ECDQ was failed... with only a few battles remaining. :(

According to the rules Gloin will be set to lvl 19. As soon as he hits lvl 20 again he is automatically approved for a new ECDQ. However, his next ECDQ cannot be run before 2 months from now even if he reaches lvl 20 before that.
