LEADS THAT COULD BE FOLLOWED - TIME IS VERY RELEVANT SO THE MORE HANDS DIVVYING UP SMALL TASKS THE BETTERKNOWLEDGEABLE PERSONS SUGGESTED -
((This information, however presented, is IC, and so may or may not suffer from unreliable narrator. Corrections and further information should be given IC as well. Daniel reads intently for a l0ng time then mutters, "And she says she has no magic, bah, she would put a Rofireinite lore scribe to shame with this bit."
*Kyle peruses the myriad of notices as he stops by the Shack to rest. He stops reading when he sees Baroness Injam's name. He jots down a short note to Daniel Poetr*
Daniel,
If it is permitted...I will go to Erylin to speak with Baroness Injam. Ferrit and I have some standing in Erylin and may be able to gather some information on the five families unless someone has already spoken to her.
Kyle
*As Charm reads over the notice, pointing at the text with her finger and mouthing each word, she jerks back at the part about returning to the dig site.*
*She takes the quill and ink from her pack and scribes "Charm" at the end of that action item*
*As she stows the writing instruments, she tilts her head this way and that surveying her writing to make sure it is obvious of her intent. She give a final nod and heads to the dig site patting the stone in her pocket.*
Daniel dispatches a letter to the Library in Bydel requesting an update on the wall research and also asks if the following could be referenced. He promises a future service of several stacks of rare mahogany paper to the temple in exchange for any help. The list is as follows:
bielaebisáimf - Elven word mentioned prominently in a relevant letter for Aa-ry's grandfather.
FIVE FAMILIES, HALL OF SEVEN.
Daniel makes a copy of Acacea's notes and forwards them. One with his request to Bydel (sealed and marked for the Head Librarian only) and another with a full report of his activities to Justicar Reus(His eyes only, sealed) in Vehl.
//Will these follow-ups be in game or forum? I've not seen anything put up on the calendar...
((Any actions your characters take are up to you, just as if a list had not been posted. Anything mentioned here was just something that came up in discussion with people talking plot to give people ideas of where they might independently pursue information - if you're going to do something, send a PM to relevant DMs or post a thread! In most of these cases there would be no need for a gathering where a letter or a single visit could do - especially if there ends up being no information to be had in that direction.))
All, I have some bits of news.
First off, there appears to be some similiarities between the wall etchings and the logs from the ship. The log and charts are pre cataclysmic in nature and describe the alignment of the stars. Near as I can tell the Captain and crew had their curious reaction to viewing this change. As many of us suspected, this has happened before. If we wish to learn more on that matter, another visit to Bydel is in order due to the complexities involved. I can do such a journey, but it will take some time, or we can go as a group. I leave the matter open to discussion.
The word "bielaebisáimf" is a archiac and localized elvish word meaning upheaval, great change , or even possibly cataclysm.
Five families and Hall of Seven - requires more specifics, as Acacea has pointed out, there exist too many myths and legends to narrow this field of inquiry at this time.
I hate to add to our growing list, but Bydel is most curious as the result of the study of Ary's remains. Has anyone seen that wizard fellow who took them recently? I never got his name.
Daniel Poetr, High Protector of Rofirein, Knight Captain of the Wyrm
**Daniel makes a stop in Vehl upon receiving the notice and asks for an audience with Justicar Reus*
Dear Moustache,The captain's logs were one of the main reasons we knew the movements had happened before, sorry if you didn't believe me! Except not really! I'd hoped they would be done transcribing the rest, but maybe they did and there was just nothing else interesting in them, which would not be surprising! Random floggings are only interesting to Xeenites! So wonderful on getting random elvish words translated! Context! Another dart to throw! One painfully random clue at a time, eh? EH?"five families will save""stars conjoined as before""change/upheaval/cataclysm is signal most forgotten" (the stars signaled THE Cataclysm, or some more generic upheaval (like in the heavens?) is a forgotten signal to something else?)"hall of seven must find answers important hidden deep fractured moved protected dangerous" (welp)"start at the Eye seek ever deeper"

PS Isn't it funny that I am essentially speaking to you from the past right now? I am communicating with the future! Wizards think they are so clever.
Pieces, pieces, everywhere, and not a drop to drink... I don't think that's how that goes... It goes now! In any case, some of us have been speaking here and there and everywhere and trying to connect dots. Some calls were sent out by others for information and we have not heard back, and some others have been out of the proverbial loop for absolutely ever or never were introduced to said loop in the first place and could use an introduction!
We should all get together and compare notes and get on the same page before we are all swallowed by soul sucking monsters from the Deep. May I suggest! Center! Though I have to comment that it is awfully strange visiting places you remember as large towns baking scrumptious pies and finding them to be tents and shanties atop of ruins... alas, the years blur...
Perhaps in a week's time or so we may meet there and strangle one another! Look forward to it!
((Just an excuse to be in Center tomorrow if one is needed for new and old alike. Acacea will be around early to 'help' with any fill-in or catchup beforehand.))
