Daniel Benjamin Poetr- Use of points
« on: January 27, 2015, 11:31:08 am »
So I seem to recall under the point system the chance to use them for shall we say, odd requests.  I'm curious as to what it would cost point wise to get a small gold dragon statuette (shrine to Rofirein) put into the courthouse in Hlint?

Hey cbnicholson,

Alright!  Thank you for your patience in this.  The short answer to your question is Yes, you can use points to help you do something like this.  However, due to the nature of the request and the nature of the town in which you want to do this, the number of points that you "must" use isn't something that we can just give you a number and you can simply have it happen.  Fortune can be used as social currency as well as monetary currency or a combination of both.  We want this to be something that means something to Daniel if he is able to see it happen, and therefore, we are recommending that you seek a GM for a cdq.  The Fortune would be used in order to help pave your way with the social currency, and the actual amount of Fortune needed would then depend on how you decide to go about things, more or less depending on actions and interactions.

What we'd like to see from you first is a tentative plan on how you intend to make this happen, and then please choose a GM to see it through.

We look forward to hearing your plans.
