Death Portrait
« on: January 25, 2008, 04:31:25 pm »
As some of you may know, my game happens to crash quite frequently for some reason, and recently on my new character (Martin Heinrich), it crashed after I  killed a small amount of skeletons.

Upon logging in, I got killed by a single skeleton that was not there upon crash.  Then, my portrait got perma-stuck on that big skull Portrait.

Anyway to fix this?

Yes. Please ask a GM and they can set your portrait back to normal. just give them the file name of the potrait you are using :)

you can find out the name of the file in the "portraits" folder of your NWN directory.  They're TGA files, so you'll need to have a copy of adobe photoshop or a similar viewer to see them.  There should be a large medium and small version of the same filename, (_LG, _SM at the ends of the filename or something like that)  so write down all three and a GM should be able to fix them in game.

This happened to me with my druid forms, and oxsmallard was kind enough to help me reset the portrait.
