I have not seen this item for sale anywhere so I am doubtful if it can be done, but can compound bow cams be added to a hunter longbow?  If by chance it is possible what level boosts would it cause?

A hunter bow cannot have cams added. When crafting a compound bow, it asks for a regular longbow.

Enzo was working on this, I am sure it is in the works for the future.

A hunter bow already has special properties.

additionally, 1d6 massive criticals is not a tremendously important property.  I remember this being discussed a long time ago the conclusion being that compound hunter bow recipes were not going to be added.

G-452 (enzo) designed the hunter bows of different woods, previously there were only oak hunter bows. That is probably what you are thinking of.

I don't think Rangers are on the list to get MORE special class restricted recipes or CNR items.  If more class specific recipes are to be added, they will be given to other classes first before coming back to give rangers any more.  Most classes don't even have 1 special class recipe.

Like Barbarians, Fighters, and Clerics?

Even Rogues have the Rogue leathers.
