Recipe - Cooking
« on: October 23, 2006, 04:31:30 pm »
Pen N Popper came up with some brilliant ideas for brewing recipes (additional ones)

What about an "Everyberry Pie"?  I know my hafling acquaintances love pie and I now try to keep some of each type on hand to keep them calm in the storm of battle.  I'd think it would be cool to have an "Everyberry Pie"

Perhaps
2 blueberry
2 cherry
2 blackberry
?? What am I missing here...
Sugar
Corn Oil
(Difficulty rating would be one level higher than the current highest pie perhaps)?

Also, I have no idea if it would be good or not, but what about a cranberry pie?  Haflings seem to each just about any pie as it is :P

Bumbleberry pie. (You know, the kind Prunilla cooks for her husband Deliar when he's feeling glum.)
    1 Blackberry
    1 Cherry
    1 Blueberry
    1 Cranberry
    1 Elderberry
    1 Juniper berry
    1 Raspberry
    1 Rhubarb Leaf
    1 Wheat Flour
    2 Sugar
    1 Corn Oil

    Mmmmm.

wouldn't you have to add some sort of meat to the ale for that pie?

Have you tried Dwarf's Head Ale??? You can eat the stuff with a fork!  ;)
It does need some kind of crust though.

No, actually the entire "pie" consists of the two bottle of ale.  That's it.  In the business world, this would be called a "liquid lunch."
