Journal Entry Saturday, June 11th

After numerous attempts at fishing for carp (with the word attempt comes the idea of failiure), I have finally decided to give up and go along my merry way to fort Llast, to help out the guard captain restock his armory with weapons. However, before I took 3 steps, I heard the voice of Gauthum, speaking with someone else. I ran over to greet him, cheerfully, as I am indebted to him for his constant help and support. The topic of our conversation lied in brown bear pelts, and it involved me asking him for some. He told me had had none, and so I asked him the favor of getting some for me at a later time. I then exited towards the goblin wastelands, when a thought came to my head - one of trickery and misdeed. I remembered the powers given to me by my druidic allies, particularly the power to shift into the form of a brown bear. Fiendlishly, I quickly transformed myself, and ran back into town, only to find that Gauthum was gone, and nearby where he stood were 2 travellers, Ness and his companion. I walked up closely to them, and they started eyeing me oddly, questioning the reason for my entering the camp. It was not too long until Ness' fellow adventurer told me to "Shoo". I took one last look at Ness, then exited the camp, once again. I moved towards the campsite, and rested there for a while. While I was resting, I realized that I was curious as to what Ness was talking about. I could not go as Kami, as ness would certainly not continue speaking, but I could not go as the bear. Thinking of what to do, yet another power came to my mind - the power to shapeshift into a badger.. I did so, and quietly entered the camp, hiding within the grass. To my fortune, Ness was still talking with his companion, and so I hid by a nearby tree, listening to them talk.

//What has transpired :

/* Basically, I just used my shapeshifting powers effectively today. I found this relevant because the only reason I want to be a shifter is to have more forms to shift to available to me. This is just 1 of the many installments of me using my animal powers. I will request a PrC CDQ when I meet the requirements for the class, after level 6 (after I take the feat to transform into more animals) */

Kami... You just started your character.  How can you be working towards Shifter levels already.  You need to RP in that direction a little, it has only been 24 hours.
  I am glad to see that you have started a character development thread but lets keep it a little more in character and a little more realistic in time.

Yeah, I won't go for shifter until I have my last level spells. I don't want an xp penalty too soon ;D (dwarven druid >.>)

I apologise for chiming into your character development thread, but i'd like to clarify that there's no XP penalty if you multiclass your Druid with Shifter levels, since Shifter is a Prestige Class, and these do not count towards determining XP penalties, even if you're a dwarf. :)
