the pink mane
« on: March 12, 2008, 06:27:34 pm »
Hi guys,

Heres another one that just caught my eye.

Location: the loom
BUg: The mane skin (it looks like a big hair when chosen) in the robes section does not sit correctly after being chosen.
This happened both with and without a cape. It used to be centered, now it sits  offset.

Reproducable: yep, tried multiple times with different gear.

Its a small thing, but abi wants to take up her moms mantra of pink lion. :D O.o

Cheers

This skewing can happen sometimes while customizing.  It generally goes away once you accept the change.

No changes have been made to this or any other armor/clothing/robe appearances for quite some time.

yep, it stays athat way afterwards.

Actually it happened long time ago, but sakura (abis mom) perm'd (she used it) and i didnt think it looked good on erk so i never thought to mention it.

It happened right after the last clothing update in v2.

I know you guys have a lot going, and it so minor. But heres hoping. :D

Odd, because I've seen it in use since then, and it wasn't shifted at all.

File Affected: pfh0_robe204.mdl

Investigation:

I've tried moving the model's position from the left to a more central position. However, the fronds of the mane then protrude from the wearer's neck and cheek.

This, and closely inspecting the layout of the lion mane model, leads me to conclude that the mane is meant to be worn on the left shoulder, rather than centrally.

Also, this model comes out of the V2 hakpacks, which means it hasn't been changed since then.

Status:

Not a bug.
