Domain powers bug.

My cleric Berdin uses the protection domain. The "Damage reduction" effect from the protection domain powers linger. I logged in today and immediately had damage reduction without casting a spell, it lasts through rest periods and even deaths.

Hmm, protection domain doesn't give any DR does it? Thought it was just a modified version of the sanctuary spell.

The bug sounds familiar though. I used to have weird damage immunity on some of my characters that lasted through deaths and rests and whatever and it was from no item or spell. Might've been 5% slashing or something.

After further playing this might not be domain powers, If someone wants to grab me online I can get Berdin and cast my normal spells with him, or wait for it to pop on. It comes and goes with area transitions too, and the other day I finished a quest and it popped on when I saved.

Is it acctually dissappering and reappearing? or is it just the icon in the upper right that comes and goes?  Those icons are a little flakey through transitions, and the movement speed increase from road haste tends to make them dissapear.

Check on your character sheet and scroll down to see what effects are acctually on your char.

and is this damage reduction (the hand icon) Damage resistance (has a little person in the middle of the icon) or damage immunity (not sure how to describe this one... it has vertical lines on the left and right sides...)

Its also possible that damage resistance or immunity that you have from your gear is erroneously being displayed as a spell effect.  This could be the case if it is resistance or immunity, but I dont think theres any item you could wear at your level with Damage Reduction.

Its damage reduction, the little triangle with the arrows pointing down on either side I think it is, It appears on my character sheet as well as just the icon by the portrait.

Vy, thats not damage reduction.

Damage reduction is the stoneskin hand (the palm out hand icon)


Edit: Sounds like damage immunity.  either what IDii said or the damage immunity from armor getting displayed incorrectly.

On my character sheet is says "Damage reduction" I'm just telling you what it says. It is the triangle with the figure of a person in it, with two lines on either side (thought they were arrows but I misremembered) with the top part of the lines wider than the bottom part.

Huh... normally thats damage immunity I think... I officially have no idea whats up with this then. heh

I have this 'problem' as well..  seems to have started after the update.  Usually is 'on' when I log on.  and stays with me for some time..  rest or transitions usually don't remove it.  

Not sure if I'm getting any damage reduction though..  everybody still wacks my rear-end.
