Understood, Dorg. :) Just happily making suggestions.

Mayhaps Pyyran should just lug around a copper mace, in the event someone offers him super-duper magics. And that goes for all the rest of you Duelists (all... Three?) out there. :)

In the event this is Working As Intended, leastwise.

Edit: As a comment on balance... My thought is that, considering the massive bonuses to damage that STR-based characters get, it doesn't seem too unbalancing for the Finesse crowd who go the route of this class to get a little boost to damage when they have a fancy enough weapon. Gods know Pyyran doesn't do much when he's not Sneak Attacking. With the class' reliance on magical robes and metal clothes for armor almost exclusively, and the fact that they can't use shields... The small increase to their attacking power might not go amiss.

We're not all Epics, after all.

Is there any update on this? I was wondering whether it works as intended now with overwriting the damage or not, seeing that I now have Precise Strike and wondered where my +1 modifier from my iron rapier was hiding.

There has not been any progress, no.
