Dye on my ox
« on: May 16, 2005, 10:58:00 pm »
I put some Leather Dye, Silver on my ox and now it is acting buggy.  I didn't think this was a stackable item but when I try to remove it back into my inventory I get a message about stackable items being destroyed.  When I close the ox pack the dye ends up back in the pack.  Not a big impact but it is basically taking a slot on my ox.  Thanks.

Dye has charges.  To get rid of the bug you have to kill off the ox.

You might be able to find a DM to reimburse you for the ox... but its not a big expense and I think the warning message says stackable and charged items.

Yes the warning says both stackable and charged items.

But shouldn't it have destroyed it like other stackables?  I don't mind it being there and don't want reimbursement.  I just thought that something isn't right.  It should be destroyed or let me tak it off.  That's all.  Thanks for the info.

The dye has been removed from your ox, I dunno how it ended up on there in the first place though, should have been destroyed, weird.

Thanks.  Actually the same thing happened to a friends ox with a different dye.  Emerald Skye is her character name.  This may be repeatable and have something to do with the dyes.

Yup,  I removed the one from Emerald too and have added script to handle dyes.
