It's funny, you can't see the horse but you can see Mikey kind of sitting on something.  But the saddle doesn't recognize the horse for some reason.

This sounds like I (we) need to do a setappearance on him if I had to guess.

Use the phenotype wand or the command on him.
I had a feeling this would not work because of the character model/appearance issue. Killing/raising will not work, and SetAppearance won't change the fact that the horse travel bonusts and skill penalties are applied. We may also need to clear the DB to clear out the horse status from his character.
Also, whoever handles this should probably refund the character the purchase price of the horse.

Removed all the horse markers from this character, speed and skill changes still in effect but should disappear once the servers are reset. Tested on planes, and he had no additional bonuses/penalties.

            Something to add
After the reset for the quests yesterday, I logged onto east.  My old appearance is back (half-ogre) and I had the horse problem.  Logged off, logged onto the quest server, same thing.  I tried to rest, but got the message "you cant rest while you are mounted"  Which I never had before.  Borrowed a saddle, tried to dismount.  It worked!  The horse appeared behind me.  Since I had already been reembursed for the horse, I asked the DM to kill it, which he did.  Now if I can get my appearance reset, I think this will all be over.

Geryon fixed me tonight, so hopefully this can stay closed.
