Last night a group and I were in Storan’s crypt to retrieve the ring. We succeeded in defeating Storan, although we lost two in the process. After we had killed Storan he left no lootable corpse or ring.

The group was Lalaith, myself (Aralin), Owen Lo’kiar, Tha’Azail, Ars Lifbahn, and Avar Nightleaf.

We were a bit disapointed because it was quite difficult to get all the way there.

Interesting. That is the first I have heard of him not working in a long while. We will look in to this. Sorry for the problem.

Just a comment on this: I have seen it before when Storan wasn't there at all.. So I know that happens sometimes.
But we did fight somthing, Its possible in all the confusion somthing may have been missed somehow, not sure how long a courpse would stay on the ground.
Anyways.. not a big deal *smiles* It was still a fun time.

We did fight and kill Storan, and I am pretty sure that there was no corpse left behind.

I can tell you what the problem is.

The corpse of Storan disappears pretty fast... Usually it's gone when the whole fight ends. Happened to me a few times before too. Gotta loot it really fast if you want the ring.

Nothing different about Storan then any other creature's death. You have 2 minutes before his corpse fades. My guess is someone looted him (standard loot) before the ring appeared on his corpse and the corpse therefore faded away. Tested this many times, corpse always showed up.
