Shapeshift and spell slots

The extra spells slots given from "Ring of Natural Spendor III"(no, I did not typo) are not sustained during a shapeshift so all spells in the extra spell slots are gone when you return to normal.

Not sure if this is considered a bug or not.

I believe the powers of the ring are not carried in to the shapeshifted form.  It is as if you are not wearing the ring and so you lose the spell slots given by the ring.

Correct, Gilshem. Abilities from worn magic items do not carry over into the shifted form, though spells cast on the character before the shift do carry over.

All items worn are effectively 'removed' and then 'put back on' during any shapeshifting- Druid, Mage or other.  Thus your bonus spells granted due to added spell slots or increased casting attribute are removed and then reapplied thus emptying those bonus slots.  This is normal and a NWN issue/design, not a Layonara bug.
