Divine feats - interrupted.

Description: This is something that I have been noticing since sometime ago, but since the last update the divine feats ( Divine Might and Divine shield  ) can be interrupted by an attack of an enemy, this is odd since they are supposed to be Supernatural abilities, no? I have been checking the log, but it does not even comes to show the message of X casts Divine Might, It simply got interrupting forcing a concentration check ( It is not need to say that concentration is not a paladin Skill ), I've noticed this to happen not always but in random events, Can something be done about it?

Location: Both West and Central

Verified: Tested with Lance Stargazer

Reproducable: Too much for my liking.

Are you certain that it was Divine Might/Divine Shield that was interrupted, and not some other spell being cast?

Divine Might and Divine Shield correspond with lines 473 and 474 of spells.2da, and both have "UseConcentration" set to 0, both in the original haks and in Layo's Control hak.  So they should, by rights, be completely uninterruptible.

If you're certain that this is Divine Might and Divine Shield, there's something wrong, because it shouldn't be possible to interrupt either spell.

I am totally sure it was those feats, That has happened me more than once. and more often than i am confortable. I know they should not get use of concentration. In fact I haven't seen any attack of oportunity caused by it either.  It just got interrupted by hits.

I've restrained to use any of them on melee for that reason, I understand taht they should not call for concentration checks, as i said they worked fine before the last big update.

I've seen this, (yet not that often ) as well with Pally turn undead and lay hands.

I included in the picture, but would need to find the log of the whole battle if you needed it, if you see on the picture there is no shown of any spell cast by Lance, But unfortunately the interruption comes just before the legend of  "Lance Stargazer cast Divine Shield/might ", In a diference to any spell, this feats does not show the legend of Lance Stargazer is casting  Divine Shield/might " to anounce the intent of using the feat. Hence is not posible to show on the log that the feat has been in use.

I've seen this does not happen always, The times i've seen it happening that i remember has been The silkwood spider cave, The forest fog giants and the cave, The great forest, The desert areas near Audira.

If some more info would be requiered I am happy to cooperate.

The monk Robes of Broken Hope were responsible for unexplained weirdness with the Expertise feat. I suggest you look to see if Lance is wearing anything (anything at all) that might be/could be contributing.

This has happened to Daniella also.  She was wearing Adamantium Full Plate armor at the time, an exceptional belt of cunning, 2 diamond str rings and a consecrated diamond str amulet.  I believe she had on a silk hood and a nymph cloak, and most likely she had on boots of arachnea because she was fighting spiders (the time this killed her).  I don't believe any of these things have any noted associated weirdnesses to them.  She had an addy kite shield and an addy longsword with silver and fire on it.  Again... don't think they are weird.  When it happened to me though it never said that the spell was interrupted.  the visual went off but the effects never took hold.  I was fighting deep spiders and could not do divine damage to it.  Also, my AC never went up for the Divine Shield.  I had plenty of turns left, and it used the turns as I clicked the button, but the effects never went through.  After relogging it seemed to fix it for that day, but it has happened on more than one occaision, just those didn't end in a death.

A question - does this always happen when battling spiders?

(That is to say, is it often in conjunction with a fortitude save?)

Well.. Its quite recurrent there..  yes,

But as i said I had the same effects in the forest giant fog and in the cave there, and the great forest .

But yes , The spidercaves in silkwood its quite recurrent ( hence why i made the test on the image there )
 

 

anything
