WL item malfunction, Varka

My WL items special ability 1/day does not work properly.

When activating the special ability, it should both affect the item holder and the group/party.

The WL item does affect the wearer as programmed.
The WL item has no affect on the group/party at all.

I'm finally getting around to looking at this.

To clarify, you say this affects the wearer as it should, but does not seem to affect those in the same party?  Can you please confirm this statement is true?

To make sure you understand, as far as those in the party, it is only meant to affect other followers of Vorax and/or dwarves.  It won't affect anyone else in the party in any way.  Also, if a party member is outside of a 30 meter radius, it will not affect them either.

Forgive me if these comments are overly obvious, but your description above does not do much to help me understand where the problem may lie, and I first want to eliminate any possible misunderstanding as to how it was intended to work.

Before I even start to determine if there is a coding problem, I ask that you provide more details on the party you use it on and its affect on their AC, Damage bonus and Fear Immunity for each member of the party.  Please include each party member's racial type and deity affiliation.

I'm sorry to ask for so much, but there are very specialized effects for this reward item, and the description of the problem is rather vague.

It does not effect any aside from him, Dorg. The area effect does not seem to trigger at all. Dwarves, Voraxians... none get hit aside from the wearer himself.

I don't know how it is scripted, but could one use the same way to do this as the bard song? Just an idea...

I was ealier in a group of dwarves and dwarven voraxian and it had no effect what so ever.

Thanks Harlas...and it is in many ways coded similarly to Bardsong (i.e. similar loops and checks). The problem must be in the way the effects are being linked and applied.
