Hi folks,
The year 2007 is going to be a very interesting and busy year for the various teams. Everybody knows about V3, and the phased rollouts that will continue all year long—and indeed for a few years probably. We have many pretty cool things being worked on, designed, and talked about.
The next thing I want to announce is that on March 11th we are going be moving to a new site and forums. It is going to be the new Layonara site for now and the future as it will help us greatly with our future plans. We are planning many things around this new site. The new site is going to be
http://www.layonara.com. On the 11th all people traversing to layonaraonline.com will be redirected to the new address. The site is currently administratively down at this time but will go live on the 11th.
We are going to try and make this as painless as possible for everybody but sadly the passwords are not transferable to the new site. That means that you will need to “request password” at the new site. The site will then email you a password within a minute, and usually within a few seconds. Be sure to check your spam/junkmail filter if you do not find it in your inbox. You do not need to register your username or anything like that at the new site, just request your password to be emailed to you. All of your post counts and all of that will transfer over; we just couldn’t get the passwords to move over. THIS MEANS THAT YOU NEED TO BE 100% SURE THAT YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS AT THIS CURRENT SITE (LAYONARAONLINE.COM) IS ACCURATE. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!! There is nothing else you need to do at this time, just wait for the day that we transfer over to the new site, the 11th.
There are many cool things coming to the Layonara Community this year. This is the second one (with the initial rollout of V3 being the first) and is perhaps the most important as it is setting the foundation for future plans.
Stay tuned for more cool things later this year!
