*Demoral, my new best friend*

Just woke up after getting home from my knee surgery, Had a blast, highly reccomend it to anyone who wants two weeks off from work and has a very high tolerance for pain. :)

The plus side:

1)Everything that USED to hurt, feels alright now.
2)Demoral.
3)Getting much sympathy here at home, it's always nice for a bit.

Down side :
1)Everything that never USED to hurt from my lower thigh to my mid calf is on FIRE.
2)Walking cast... what a sick, sadistic joke that is.
3)Sympathy... after a while it just gets annoying.
4)I'm a bit loopy, so I won't be doing any GMing of events or CDQ's untill I don't need the pain medicine as much. If I play it will be Breg.. since he doesn't talk much there's less chance to make a schmuck of myself.

I think now though, I am going to go back to sleep.

I'll just assume that Ketzia's CDQ scheduled for Monday evening is cancelled unless I hear from you otherwise?...no worries...

Actually, I'm trying to imagine what kind of quest I might get from a GM on Demoral....?? Might be kinda interesting...  ;)

      I sympathise with you as I have had sevral knee op's myself. From just cartilage removal to a full reconstruction. All I can say is things do get better so keep your chin up and enjoy the pain medication while it lasts. ;)

      1 point for the bad joke, but -2 for incorrect anatomy.  The scapula is the shoulder blade.  The patella is the knee cap.  And technically, the operation wasn't on the bones, but I'll let that slide.  

      Y'know, I'm going to give you another point for that joke.  You're all even now.

          My mother had Knee surgery when I was around 14 years old it was HORRIBLE... I had to cook for my sister and me. That and she complained a lot, go figure coming from someone that had 4 back surgeries.
