I'm curious... How many working computers do have at your house? (includes PVRs and DVRs)
Playing D&D 3.5e, D&D 5e, Pathfinder, and exploring Starfinder through a VTT

3 PC's, and 2 laptops... We're 2 boys and a girl, and my parents have 2 laptops. :)

Does that even count as a computer? I'd think it's more of an appliance, like a toaster with a remote control.

No room for furniture in our house, 3 Pcs, 2 laptops, my wife, myself and four kids. We dont talk to each other we ICQ and email.... :o

In the garage, are two more old retired ones, I really should get them recycled.

4 notebooks, 4 PCs, 3 servers, and 2 Tivos(cant live without these)

I think the stand-alone devices run a specialized version of Linux or some variant thereof.  Whether it is an appliance or not...well, you're probably right, but it was included in the original question, so....*shrugs*

I know that Tivo runs a variant of Linux, and the custom PVR that I have also runs a Linux disrtobution.
