Learning a Language In Game

What needs to happen to learn a new language in game if you have the room (the INT) to add one?

oh crud... for a few months now I've been RPing with Quintayne ((when we could)), to learn Draconic with him, we mostly did lessons via PM ((hope thats allowed)) since we hardly see eachother in game, we havent done a whole lot yet, mostly because of the sail and all, but I completely missed the write your progress in your character developement thread, I'm going to start that now.

Lfff, via PM's is not going to work sorry.  Quintayne has only been in game for a max of 20ish hours (and only on quests run by GM's) over the past several months as well. I don't think that paticular character is going to do much good in the way of training--at least not at this time until the player is able to become more active and be able to play in game more often. Not sure what to tell you sir, but it needs to be more than via PM's and those very limited times and hours.  Most assuredly so for the Draconic language.

unfortunately Quintayne is the only one I know who knows the language thus far.  So until that changes I'm going to continue learning from his character, even if it ends up taking 3 years or so to learn the language.  Its a slow progress now but its only the begginning and I'm sure there will be many times this will be made up for in the future.
