    Death
    « on: June 19, 2005, 07:03:00 pm »
I guess I'm just a little confused as to the death system here.  I have been reading on it, and its is confusing me.  What is this about permanent death? or death tokens and such?  If someone could sort of clarify the entire death concept in the game that would be great.

    Thanks,

Everytime you die, you have a chance to get something called a death token.  I believe its
1%* your level to get a death token.  Once you have 10 death tokens you are permanently dead, meaning you can not play the character anymore.  Level 20 and above there is a feat you can get to raise you 5 death tokens.

Exactly. When you die you roll a d100. If you roll less than the lvl of your character, you receive a death token.

Are we suposed to do the roll oreselves or is it automatic?
If we are to do it, does Layonara use the level we were at the time of death or the level when we roll?

The roll is made automatically. You will see it immediately when you die.
