Greater Sanc

I was on last night as Alazira and as usual cast my Greater Sanctuary.  In the past, despite the bugs I never had a problem.  However, despite having absolutely no spells cast on me, the bug happened and I was seen..not once, but on two separate occassions last night.  Are other people having an increased failure on this?

Not an increased rate, no.  It is a known bug and while this precaution is a pain, its best to expose yourself to a spawn you know you can handle before using Gr. Sanc to get around a harder obstacle.  On the occasions I've seen it happen, it seems a new spawn completely disregards the spell, rather than one that was spawned at a distance.  My totally empiric observations here.

G sanct is failing at an obscene rate.


Last two times Zira cast it it has failed.

Last four times Hedessa has cast it it has failed.

I am one for two in the same period of time.  

I have been extremely cautious abotu having no concealment spells active to negate it.  I have been glowing purple and everything sees through it, not just some things.

Does anyone else have theories about this?  Was anything changed or is my limited pool of experiences very disproportionate to the rest of the server?

As much as I hate to say it, I think it's just bad luck.  The one thing I have noticed now, is that when there are 2 characters in the same area wtih Greater Sanctuary, one gets noticed.

Maybe this is just coincidence, but I notice that each time I am in an area with another and both are under Greater Sanc, one will get spotted.  This observation stems from events over the past year or so.  Granted, before it was seldom that I traveled with another while we were both using Greater Sanc, but maybe something we can look into as players or others have feedback.
