Lost item... help
« on: May 15, 2005, 02:04:00 am »
In this last crash I lost my "sense of direction". Can a gm help? I was in east hlint when it happened, but now I can't find east Hlint. When the crash happened, I had my brain open. Maybe thats why it went away. I still have my "sense of decency", and my "sense of whats right and wrong" is still there. Just that dang "sense of direction". I am a little upset cause it took me a long time to get it, and I am hoping not to have to go through that again.

Thanks,

Etin

Hey give these guys a break.  Don't you know they have real lives and do this all for free.  I am sure Orth can track it down.  He can track anything or at least it will get fixed in the next update.  Maybe the team can come up with an item that will help those who lose their "sense of direction" in the future.  At least you didn't complain that it was a rogue GM that took it from you or prevented you from getting it back out of favoritism.  I suggest in the future you keep your brain open as little as possible and rest every time you finish with it that will reduce the risk of this happening in the future.  And if your "sense of direction" is stuck in the void maybe you could use your gem of remembrance (I mean the remembering orb) to get it out.

Sorry, we are not returning any senses, it was clearly stated in the server rules that players need to make space in their inventories for senses at all times. We can't keep up with the requests and you've been playing here long enough to know better. You will simply have to do with no sense of direction. You can always craft a new one.

i can see how a ranger could lose his sense of direction in a town! So much noise and tracks,...nothing compared to the relative peace and quiet of the forests, eh? And those buildings all look the same, no distinguishing marks on them at all to guide your way...

    best wishes,

I'd like to report a case of lost dignity when I accuratly recited the Teletubbies theme song. This happened a few weeks ago so... yeah... if I could get that back I'm sure it'd really come in handy.

I cant beleive that we as a nation, had the lack of judgement to export Teletubbies to our friend around the world. Wars have been started for less.

Saying that, my kids used to love watching it on TV, so I suppose its just me getting old ...

I often wonder what happened to the quality programs that were shown here when I was a kid, teenage mutant ninja turtles, fireman sam, postman pat....those were the glory days!

Yeah when I was a kid I watched Robotech.  Talk about a killer show.  At least I can go back watch the DVDs now.  Nowadays that show would be considered a bad influnce to children with its violence.  But look at me.  I watched it and I'm normal.   Well...somewhat.

Teletubbies is really quite cool, specially when you're very, very drunk or out of your head in another way -.^

Actually I prefer watching something nonsensical like Pokemon or even Skiing in those situations... Skiing works a real charm on hangovers for some oddish reason.

... and don't you tempt me with stuff like that when I'm on guard for the 3rd day running (Earliest I can go home is Thursday) -_-
